Months ago, I found a dress at David's Bridal that I absolutely LOVED for my bridesmaids. I thought it was perfect. Recently, about a month ago, I went online and it was gone from the bridesmaid section. So, back the drawing board, I searched for replacements.
Yesterday, I went online and searched for my Mom's dress we got her over the weekend, so she could have the pic of it. And OMG, unexpectedly I found my original pick for the bridesmaid's dresses in a different section of the online site at (wait for it......) $29!! Now who doesn't love a great deal?! I love the beading at the top of this dress and along the back. So, I have passed on this info to the girls and hopefully (fingers crossed) they will both get it relatively soon so this opportunity isn't missed. I want them both to get the dress and with both of them being out town, I've found it difficult trying to communicate and coordinate with them.
I also wanted them to get silver sparkly heels. The original shoe at DB's didn't quite work for one of them, so I went back and found another option at Payless. Another great deal right?! I didn't really get responses over the two options, so since I'm the bride, I just picked one and said fine, get these. I originally also included the Helix, the one shown is the Chop-Out. I think these will be a little more comfortable. So I went with these.
I've also included pics of the hair style I want for them. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Taylor Swift <3 haha, so a light curl for them, up. I'm wearing my hair down. Then to give a little more bling w/o it being over the top, a single row of swavarski crystal headband.
I made them each a gift tote bag. I painted their first name intial on the front each in a different color. Inside I included day of necessities, such as deodorant, tide pen, floss, brush ups, sewing kit, hair spray, brush, lint roller, band aids, clear nail polish, etc etc. I also gifted them a black clutch with includes a chain, their bracelet and earrings, personalized hanger, lip gloss, bath and body works lotion and body spray, a face mask....and few other little goodies.
Fingers Crossed the dress and shoe buying go smootly!!
XoXo
The "I Do" stickers are a very cute idea!
You did an awesome job of the goodies for the girls! WOW! Where did you get the tote bags, ebay ;)? I ordered some purple ones, and will put their name on it. hopefully I'll have by next week so I can start on them!
Thanks for the nice comments on the ensemble; I love it!
