Recent Wedding Purchases

Here are a few things I recently bought through David's Bridal.

First, the jewelry. My FH and I went down to David's Bridal on Friday, my torselette I ordered for my dress was in and we went to pick it up. I checked out the jewelry with him and we both really liked this necklace. It is really very sparkly and blingy in person and just want I wanted. It was a set with earrings but I don't like them, and as I posted before, i do have sparkly hoop earrings I'll be wearing. I also got my fav bracelet I had seen there before. Also very sparkly in person.

Next, I ordered two directional signs. One for the wedding and one for the reception. Both to be placed down by the road with the arrow pointing up the driveways. They both actually come with a right on one side and left arrow on the other, so I'm thinking I might only attach one arrow and then use the other arrow a little further up to the venue. The driveway actually splits and I'd like to have one at the street, then another pointing to the actual walkway entrance. To avoid confusion. But we'll see. The orchid one will be for our ceremony and other will be for the reception, both can be personalized to read what you want.

I also ordered my beverage napkins here. We picked black w/ the fuchsia foil coloring. The "Love" design on the following picture is what will be on the napking along with our first names and the wedding date underneath. We are planning on putting half out at the bar and the other half at the beverage station from the caterers.

Lastly, our second favor. We are doing the favor boxes which will have dinner mints and the personalized hershey kisses. The dinner mints will be in a white sachet bag, tied with a charm. That bag will be placed inside our black favor box, and kisses sprinkled on top. And so this key bottle opener will be the second favor. I knew right away before I even got engaged that I was going to have these as favors. I had seen them before at Bed, Bath and Beyond and I LOVE old fashioned keys. I actually have a small collection in my living room along with a couple other "key" decorations in our apt, so these are my favorite. I ordered 65 of them and I figure if I need more later, depending on how RSVP goes and such, I can pick up a few more at Party City or Bed, Bath and Beyond, since I've seen them at both of my local stores before.
