DIY boutonnieres

Ive sat and made 3 of the boutonnieres tonight and Im pretty pleased with them! My fiance is not quite as sure of them as I am but he says as long as I love them hes happy ( such a cop out but itll do!!)

What do you think?

Ive just added a pic of the grooms boutonnieres too, and also in the daylight as the other pics i took last night didnt show the colours any justice!

Ive added two sword feathers to the grooms one to make him stand out!

Thanks! I used artificial green button mums (hard to find!!) peacock swords some hat pins and decoartive diamontes (both purchased from a florist wholesalers), peacock feathers and purple ribbon. I used the stalk of the mum as a starting point, used florist tape to attched the stalk of the sword and feather then placed the pins and diamontes with more florist tape and finally wrapped the ribbon around and glued with a tiny bit of glue gun to keep the ribbon in place. Only took me one evening to make 6!!x
