Hello again WBC ladies!! How I have missed you all!! I have still been on the site several times a week but have not posted anything at all! :-( What a slacker! Sorry! I am just super busy with working on my Masters degree and my wedding is a bit far away... but there is never enough time for planning! Lol. Anyways, there is a big bridal expo in Philadelphia on Sunday that I am going to (what a nice way to end a school weekend!!), and my best friend who is recently engaged is coming too! So excited! I had gotten an email from one of the newsletters I am signed up for a few months back that said it saves a lot of time to make business cards or labels with all of your information on it to give to vendors at the expo instead of filling out all of those cards, which I completely agree with after attending two expos previously! They also suggested it was super helpful to create a separate email address for all wedding related vendors and information to go to, that way if you get tons of spam from them sharing your info (which they should not do, but obviously do..) it does not inundate your current email and its easier to remain organized! :-) So, I was just wondering if any of you ladies had any other tips for getting the most out of a bridal expo?? Thanks so much! And happy planning!
I have the "Great Bridal Expo" coming to town this weekend too. I had planned on attending so I can get some florist quotes and discounts/deals for dresses.
I've attended two other expo's and won a 3 night stay at a local resort and a free bouquet from another vendor. FH gave up going after the first one, LOL, but all my friends go with me for the free cake. HAHAHA
Note to self: do not give your email address to everyone who asks. Go for a purpose and truly give your information to only those people you are interested and by all means DO NOT sign up for the free pots and pans or wedding ring giveaways!!!!!!
@katertot, my fh also gave up after one expo.. lol I've only been to one before but haven't won anything yet.. hopefully this time! Lol but just curious, why shouldn't I register for the rings or pots and pans? Is it a scam? I got roped into a chef world one before for a free cruise but it was crap.. lol thanks for the tip of not giving my info to every vendor! That's a great idea and a very effective way of not being inundated with vendors who don't interest me!
Thanks so much ladies! And good luck! :-)
