The Proposal

Around and Around We Go!

Randall and I have been together for 4 years now and by the end of the 2nd year I was itching for a propsal. Needless to say it took almost 2 more years for it to happen. The propsal took place at the most wonderful spot. Randall's town has an annual Christmas Merry-Go-Round that we attend every year with our families and I love it because it makes me feel like a kid again. Randall and I actually went to the MGR 2 times last year and i never would have imagined that the 2nd time would change my life. Me, Randall, his sister, and her now Fiancee hurried to the MGR before we set off on our annual trip to look at Christmas lights. We got there and immediately got on the ride. People were standing around watching their children ride and the ride was full. The ride had began and a few moment into it Randall took something out of his pocket and stood up. Everyone began looking at us as Randall descended to one knee. He began with, "I love you very much and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He followed that with the traditional, "Will you Marry Me?" Suddenly people began to cheer and I finally took a breath and said yes. Then a small boy who had been sitting in front of us began yelling "She said Yes!" When the ride finally stopped the boy began his parade around the ride with his famous "She said Yes" chant. I never thought the rest of my life would begin in that spot. I plan on going there every year and can't wait to take our children there one day and share the story with them.
