Well ladies my day has finally arrived! I didn't really do too much with my own blog, due to not having much time between work, 2 dogs and a 2 1/2 yr old daughter.
I would like to thank you for your support when I asked. I hope you all have beautiful wedding days. I'm sure I'll be on from time to time. I'll post pics when I get some. Hugs to you all and again I hope you have the wedding day of your dreams. |

Wedding Decoration
Ceiling Swag
So I got a call from the decoration lady at the hall yesterday. She was just calling to confirm what we had already decided on. She then tells me they have a wedding there this weekend and they will have the cieling swag. She offers to leave it up for me at no charge since it makes no difference to her if she takes it down this weekend or next. I was all over that like a fat kid on a smartie!!

Dye Crinoline
Pink!
So I finally dyed my crinolne. I used 2 boxes of Rose Pink Rit dye. Filled a rubbermaid tote with hot water, mixed to 2 boxes of dye with boiling water and poured it in the tote. I also added 1/2c of salt because I read somewhere it helps the dye set better, it did seem to hurt. I also pre-wet my crinoline before putting it the dye bath, I used the same rational with this as I did with the salt. I let the crinoline sit in the dye for about 45min-1hr, going in a mushing it around every few min. The I rinsed until the water ran clear and gave it a quick wash in the tub with laundry soap. The pic is the finished dry product.

OMG!!!!
i feel like I still have so much to do. I need to finish my favours, dye my crinoline, finalize was the church, finalize music for the church and reception, get lic, get rings, I'm sure there is stuff I'm forgetting.
I do have ppl that want to help but there it's much they can do. |

Bachelorette
Weekend in Montreal
I had my bachelorette in Montreal. It was awesome. We did a spa day and dinner. Nothing crazy. I out grew the bar and drinking thing a few years ago. Plus after a relaxing day partying is not at the top of the list. One of my BM's had a wicked hook up her dad has a condo in Montreal. The spa was fantastic, if any of you ladies find yourself in Montreal I recommend Aqua Spa. They were really friendly and professional. We all had facials, mani, pedi, massage and either a body wrap and lunch. It was nice to get away and we decided it's something we're going to try to do every year.

HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!!!
52 Days
I just logged in and haven't been on in a few weeks. I only have 52 days left. OMG!! I still have to finalize all the details with the church, decorations with the hall, music for church and reception, finish my favors, figure out BM gifts, I'm sure there is more, oh ya my hair. I'm sure I can get it done but I'm feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
I bring my dress in on Thursday to start alterations. I picked up the flowers dresses last Sunday, they only need minor alterations......thank god! |
