the beginning of our vows
Good Morning,
Family and Friends, we are gathered here today, not to witness the beginning, but to rather the continued strengthening of an existing bond. Marriage is not only the joining of names and the sharing of diaper duties; it is the joining of two souls whose companionship and mutual understanding has flowered into romance and love. Today, Michael and Rachel proclaim their love and commitment to each other before thier closest friends and loved ones. We celebrate the wondrous wand joyful events that have already taken place in their lives as we help lay the foundation for this; their new life together. Everything was AWESOME. The girls met me at the park around 8 am, and we started decorating, and then we had a hair appointment, and all of our hair came out so GREAT! We then got dressed at the pub and my bridesmaid did my makeup and again, AMAZING.The cermeony went great, our officiator was amazing. The reception was a blast....we did have a minor storm which blew all of our stuff around and off tables, but it cooled everything down so well! all the friends and family were awesome helping us clean up and such. All the songs were picked just right, and everybody loved them. During the garter removal, i had put a pair of granny panties in my garter, so mike had to pull them out, and hold them up-everyone laughed SO hard! ;)We had so much leftover as well, food and drinks, so we brought them to the after party!
The after party was even better. we drank, talked ate more and sang kereoke! woohoo! And then the bridal party rented the groom and I a hotel room for the night, we had champange and chocolate covered strawberries, YUM! we had a nice relaxing night alone, while mikes mom had marlee and my dad was at my place. we had breakfast there, and mikes mom picked us up since we took a cab the night before;) Ill add more pics as soon as i get them! |

2 DAYS!
I have two full days until the wedding. YIKES! AT this moment in time, I dont feel stressed. I just want it here, and it over with. LOL.
Right now, Iam trying to pick a first dance song. Later on a few of my girls will be coming over to help me so a few things. I have to start the flowers (if the arrive, they should have been here by now) and also start the center pieces. I think Im leaning towards when i see you smile as my first dance. four days till the wedding
I have four days until my big day! Iam so nervous,and stressed out to the max. Iam actually working on the songs right now. About to make a "wedding day" playlist for Saturday on my ipod. Im stuck at what songs to add, because I dont have alot of great music on the library. FH already said no macerena or anything of the sort! YIKES!
I got my dress done last week. Not exactly what I had in mind when I started this whole process, but what can I do? I THINK Ive decieded how I want my hair. I bought a cute head band that matches the dress nicely, and well do a lot of big curls and a lot of body. Make up is going to be a nice brown/nude look on the eyes, kinda thick-but light at the same time, if you understand that. lol. Lips will be glossy and and a pinkish color. I have to pick up alot of stuff friday, including more food, and beer. Along with my gerbera daisies (the roses should be here friday night). We have to finish the guest sign in, and pick up some food for the after party. We are having a rehersal friday-and Im hoping the weather holds out, as there is a Tropical Depression forming now, yay! Also, my lovely BMs are doing the bouquets for me friday evening. Saturday I plan on being out there between 7:45 and 8 to start setting up. I need to put the bathroom baskets together, put the table cloths on the tables. Set up the candy bar, (other people will be putting the candy in before the ceremony), the gift table, the bar area and the smoking area. I have so many smokers coming, that ive made large smoking pots for the cigs, so there arent cigs all over the park! |

Thank G-d! I so need this. Im so stressed. This night will be awesome! We are going to a hotel on the beach, laying pool side all day, and eating a great meal on the beach! We are playing games and drinking! YAY! My first night away from my daughter! Yikes!
Oh, Iam no longer making my own cake. Iam getting a 125 cupcakes from publix, plus a 9 or 10" cake to cut. ya.18 days. |
