Flower Babies

3 month old twin nieces will be flower girls...

This is what they will be wearing. I found baby tutus online but I will making them myself instead, they are super easy to make. I bought the flower headbands on www.youruniquebowtique.com they are super cheap. I'm so excited.

DIY Wedding

Finally finished my aisle runner!!

Thanks to Katie Swafford on etsy who designed this and three other wedding monograms for me. I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. You can't see the boldness of the colors (purple and silver), in this picture. The paint I used was metallic so it catches the light and looks way better in person.

Wedding Cake

I love my cake!!!!

I found this cake on theknot.com We went and ordered it last night, it will be the exact same except the rose color will be antique lilac. The white layer will be chocolate cake and the other three are vanilla. Each layer has different fillings as well, which will work nicely because we will have a cake buffet station as opposed to it getting passed out after the meal. YUMMY!!! We also have a monogram cake topper.

After hours and hours of searching I finally found my shoes. I spent way more than I expected but I think they are perfect. The are already ivory so I don't have to get them dyed, which is really nice. It's too bad no one will even be able to see them because they are so beautiful. They look a little vintage too...BIG PLUS!!

Flowers for Bridesmaids

Our colors are ivory and platinum with purple accents. Bridesmaids dresses are granite with a platinum sash. They will have purple flowers. My dress is ivory with a platinum sash. I LOVE THIS BOUQUET...What do you think?

Anyone have ideas on inexpensive bridesmaids bouquets? I wouldn't mind them carrying a single flower or just three flowers tied together. Any advice on this using purple flowers?

Wedding Reception

Belvedere Banquets

We love Belvedere Banquets. It is super modern inside and only 5 years old. There is a brides room upstairs with a curved staircase leading into our room. My other favorite part is the bar. It is not a hole cut into a wall, it is an actual C-shaped bar. The best part is...we don't need tons of decorations because everything is already so pretty and neutral in color. No ugly carpet or chairs here. We are so excited.
