the place that we are having the ceremony and reception has this arch/colonnade thing that already comes included with the venue (i put a picture of it over there <<<). i'm just having trouble trying to figure out what i want to do to decorate it....

i am not a big fan of greenery even though i know it's the cheapest way to go. my flower girl is going to carry a red pomander with black crystal/beads instead of ribbon... i was thinking i could make a couple extra and hang those but i don't know if that would be enough by itself.

most of the decorations are black and white damask (yes another damask bride) with red as the accent color.

any ideas would be great!!!

i am in LOVE with this monique lhuillier dress. unfortunately it is not in love with me. i can't seem to find exactly which style this is b/c it doesn't seem to be on the website anymore, which is alright b/c even if i did know none of the stores in my area sell that designer and it's still alright b/c even if they did, that dress is WAY out of my budget. i keep toying with the idea of having it made but honestly that makes me so nervous i could have a panic attack. lol.

i doubt anyone can help i'm just venting :)

about my wedding:

we are having a "surprise" wedding. we are planning it as an engagement party and then about an hour into the party we will go and change into our wedding clothes... SURPRISE. that's why there isn't a lot of info on the wedding... just in case :)
