Amazing movie for future married couples!!!
I dont know if anyone has seen this movie yet but it is amazing and I wanted to recommend it to everyone on here!!!
Words cannot describe how much my fiance and I throughly enjoyed this movie! Its so inspirational and shows you exactly what couples go through a few years into their marriage and how to deal with it and maybe even prevent it from happening. It is a very religious movie and shows you how important it is to have God and faith in your marriage. My fiance was unsure about it, and after watching it, he told me how much it moved him and since then we actually bought the book "Love Dare" (You'll see once you watch the movie). My fiance is not the mushy emotional type so to have him be as moved by this as I was really touched me, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did! |

Wedding Dress
Im glad my fiance doesnt know about this site!
Ok so its definitely been awhile since I've been on here, but like has been so crazy between work, school, and planning a wedding but I just HAD to share this with someone!
Last week, my mom and I went and FINALLY after months of searching found "the dress" and I couldnt be happier! I was starting to get upset bc I didnt think I was ever going to get that feeling that all you ladies talk about when you try on "your dress" and you just know, but it finally happened thank goodness! The only thing slightly uncomforting is that my dress was ordered in a size 4 and the lady told me I am NOT allowed to gain ANY weight bc the dress fits me like a glove and any extra weight would make it not fit, so it looks like Im going to be watching what I eat VERY closely for the next four and a half months! Just wanted to post a few pics of the dress and I hope you guys like it! I would've posted pics with me in the dress but I didnt wanna put any on my camera for fear that my nosy fiance might see them! lol |

So they ended up taking almost 200 pictures but this is the one we decided on for our save the date magnets! We took them at a beautiful place in Independence, TX called Old Baylor which I loved! But I just wanted to share it with yall and I cant wait til our magnets finally get here!

Engagement Photos
So I need some advice from my future brides who have already taken their engagement pictures!
My FH and I are taking our engagement pictures this weekend and Im sooo excited but my dilemma is that I love the wedding photos taken by our photographer but their engagement pictures are kinda blah and boring! I've been thinking about different poses and shots we could take that would be more interesting. What are some of yalls favorite poses when you took your engagement pics? |

Wedding Reception
To cater or not to cater???
So Im slightly stressed bc this wedding is costing us way more than we had orginally planned. Every caterer we have talked with wants to charge at least $10 a plate! With 300 people this just puts us way overbudget even more and we're trying to figure out what to do about it.
The ballroom we're getting married at has a huge wonderful kitchen and huge bbq pit outside. We talked out getting a few people together to just cook the majority of the food ourselves to save on costs. We planned on doing everything from grilled chicken and brisket to potato salad and beans I guess my question is... is it gonna look bad to serve homemade food at the reception, instead of it being catered from somewhere maybe a little nicer? What do you guys think?  |

Need yalls help on this one!
So I dont know what to do!
A little lightbulb went off in my head Saturday when meeting with the florist, when I realized that my fiance's sister is not one of my bridesmaids! My FH and I talked about it, and the more and more we talked about it, the more and more we realized how important it is for her to be a bridesmaid. I feel like it would look comlpetely selfish of me to have eight girls and not be able to make room for my future sister in law! The only problem is that this means we are going to have to cut one of the bridesmaids. The girl that I want to cut, pretty much invited herself into my wedding party and I couldnt tell her no. She's my roommate and her boyfriend is one of my fiance's groomsman. I've only known the girl for about a year now while I've known my other girls anywhere from 4 years to 15 years! Im such a nonconfrontational person and I hate telling her she cannot be a bridesmaid! I've already planned to move her to house party so she can still be apart of the wedding, but I'll feel she'll be very hurt by the whole thing, since she planned on making me her matron of honor when she got married! We've talked to my FSIL and she said she'll be happy wherever we put her, but I know the right thing to do is to have her in the wedding! So should I have my FSIL in the house party to keep peace or do the right thing and move the roommate down to house party for my fiance's sister! HELP!  |

Ceremony & Reception
Change of date but completely worth it!!!
So we ended up have to move the date up by a month but I couldnt be more excited bc the place we have found it absolutely gorgeous!
We had originally planned to get married at our church and then have the reception at a different venue, but a few of our friends had been telling us about this place on the outskirt of town and when I went online to see it I was completely blown away! When we went to go look at the place my fiance knew my by the look on my face there was no way he was changing my mind on this one! Whats crazy to me is how normally take my time on everything and like to consider all my options first, but after seeing this place, I had a gut feeling that just said "THIS IS WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MARRIED!" The place was already booked for our date which is why we are having to change the date but oh well. We will be married at the gazebo outside and then move inside to the beautiful banquet hall for our reception, Im soooo excited!!! www.magnolia-lake.com  |

Honeymoon
Disneyworld!!!
We booked our honeymoon today and I couldnt be happier with our selection!
We got the honeymoon package so it comes with all the extra little kudos. While we're trying to save money on the wedding, we figured the honeymoon was the one thing we were going to splurge on. As my fiance said, its the one time we'll get to feel like VIPs so we might as well take advantage of it! I've never been to Disneyworld so this will be a first for me, and like the 4th time for the fiance. We thought about places like Hawaii or Jamaca but we both wanted something fun and exciting we could enjoy with plenty of lasting memories! So exciting!!! So where are yall planning on honeymooning....  |

Finally picked a photographer!
So I've been sooo extremely busy between work and school that I havent even had time get on here in the past two months, but I've missed WBC so much I couldnt stay away for too long, plus I got my photographer today!
Its actually a photography company based outta Brenham, TX about an hour and a half from us, and is called Barker Photography. My fiance was actually the one who booked our photographer because he's known the company forever and they take beautiful affordable pictures so thats two check pluses in my book.
