Wedding Day
We Are Married! Meet The K's.
Our day could have not been more perfect, I am extremely happy how everything turned out. I based the entire decor/theme of the wedding on my dress, and it all came together perfectly. It was my dream wedding! I still feel like I am floating on clouds it was AMAZING. I married my best friend, nothing could be more perfect.
Now, we are off to our new home..as we are moving across the Country just days after our wedding! <3 I included some of my fave's pictures from our wedding. I love the more artsy ones- aka poses I admired off Once Wed. |

Stagette
Oh yea...
My girls were the cutest- they picked out a sash for me and they all wore pins. My MOH decided to wear a tiara with me. Some guy thought we were marrying each other!
We went out for dinner and ended up the Casino, I had an idea we could eat there. Not such a good choice but it made up for some great pictures- until security told us we were prohibited to take photo's inside. After that we headed off to a couple clubs, and actually ended up club hopping all night till we ended up back at the same place we began at. These are some of my favorite pictures of the night. I had my hair trial the same day as the Stagette so my hair is pretty much what it will look like for the wedding. My stylist tired to make it a little less formal for the night of. We had such a good time! |

Wedding Dress
Poll: How many times have you tired it on?
Ladies.
I was relived the day I took my dress home- because it's safe with me! How many times have you tired your dress on since you took it home? Do you take it out and just look, or admire it? For me, I live with my FH and I actually have not tied it on once. I am so scared that I am going to ruin it before the big day. My FH has not tired to look at it once! |

Pew Decor?
I need help!
I am stumped on pew decor! I have no idea what I want. I have looked a pew bows but they all look so gawdy to me ( no offense) they are huge and over done. I want something simple, yet cost effective.
The problem is we don't have a center isle at our ceremony location. There are two entrance with one set of pew to the right, one to the left, and in the middle a set of pews. It would be impossible to have the pews blocked with tulle draped, because we will only be using one entrance. Please I am in need of some ideas. I do love the pomanders, but I am scared of how much they will cost me in the end. Ideas are greatly appreciated!!!! |

I found the perfect outfit!
Our wedding is southern themed, and I found the perfect outfit for our little Ring Bearer. He's just a toddler, so he will be assisted down the isle but I can't wait to see him in his little outfit.

Were Finished ....
Marriage Prep Classes
We have finished our required marriage prep class. We had decided to take the 6 classes for 6 weeks, however our minister kept rescheduling so we opted for the full day class. I was a little worried about what the classes would be like and if the minster/pastor would be like. We ended up taking it with 3 other couples, and I loved them material they used for the class. It was a mix of a pre recoded dvd program and the workbook. There is also a book to take home with you to read over afterwards. I would recommend this book to any couple! It really touches on important topics that you may not have thought about previously. I was the type of bride that went into the class thinking that we didnt need to improve on anything and there was nothing I needed to learn, but I really get some good advice!

Bridesmaids
Hair For My Girls...
I booked my BM hair appointments for the day of the wedding- the first one starts at 7:30 am. I opted to have only my hair dress do all the hair. I trust her!!!!!
My MOH will have a trail done with me as well to see what looks best! I am soooo excited- these are the styles that I have chosen for my girls. |

Bridal Shower
It was amazing!
My wonderful MOH did an amazing job on my shower. I felt strange being the centre of attention. It went by so quickly and I started to wonder if my wedding day will be the same..over in a blink! Enjoy it ladies while you can, it's such an exciting time leading up to the wedding day!
Only 2 months till the big day!!!!!! We got so many awesome things for our house, the bridal shower theme was kitchen- things she needs but will never buy for herself. She thought of everything! Everyone wore aprons and we had lunch and opened gifts. We only played one game- the close pin game. It was so funny b/c you were not allowed to say wedding, bridal, bride. The ladies were just gabbing each others close pins. It was great for those who didn't know each other well! |

Cake or Pie?
We are serving homemade pie at our wedding- apple, strawberry-rhubarb, and lemon meringue since our wedding theme is southern style and we are serving comfort food for our dinner.
Are there any other brides our there serving pie? We will have a small traditional cake to cut for pictures and serve to those who don't like pie. :) |
