This is futuremrsl's Pink Wedding!

I am so excited about the candy buffet I am going to make. I am also going to use the candy buffet as the favors. So far I have 7 jars, and I want to use at least 12 jars. I just bought the martini dish last night. I am going to get that huge wine dish too. I am going to use all brown and pink candies. Last night I bought 16 cases of whoppers in brown and pink. I never even knew they made pink whoppers. Then I am going to buy pink and chocolate chinese take out boxes and tie the place card seating to it with a thank you note on the back. So the boxes will serve 2 purposes, the seating, and for the candy. I found different shade of brown skittles at the store too that I am going to buy this weekend. I just hope my venue can keep the guests from digging in until the photographer gets some shots of the buffet first!

Booked our wedding photography yesterday! Can't wait to do our engagement session.

One project done and done is the wedding webpage. I made it on www.mywedding.com. Pink and Brown of course. It is a free site and you get a lot of options with it. I highly suggest it!!!!! Once March comes I will email my save-the-dates through the website too!

I started buying my bridesmaid gifts. So far I got them each a Coach umbrella, with a matching Coach key fob. I am also going to get them tote bags in their fav color with their initials on them. Then also the jewlery - earrings and maybe a bracelet if the budget allows.

We got engaged on May 24, 2008. We went into Boston for the night and went to dinner in the North End (Italian Section of Boston). After dinner we went for a walk and came upon a new park in Boston called The Green Way. The park is so beautiful. It has lights built into the ground and water fountains coming out of the ground. My FH suggested that we sit on the park bench. The sun was setting, it was a warm night, and there was a perfect skyline view. My FH began telling me how much he loved me and he said "I love you so much, that......" and he pulled out the ring and said "will you marry me". I don't even remember what else he said because I was in tears.

My ring is a 1.5 round solitare white diamond. I went looking at wedding bands last week and I think that the prong band is what is going to look the best so that my diamond stands out. I can't wait to shop for bands :)

We booked our DJ last weekend. We are using Chad Ardizzoni from Get Down Tonight. He looks like tons of fun and filled with energy. I am more into dance/club music while my FH is more into rock. If you want to check out his video

So, we have not ordered the dresses yet, not until January. I thought I had my mind made up on the long the dress, but then I came across the short dress. Help me decide which one you like better, the long or the t-length. The main color will be chocolate with the accent color being pink. Let me know what you think. I can't decide!!!!!

So, we booked a 15 passanger hummer limo! I can't wait! First they will pick up the groomsmen and take them to the chruch, then they will pick me and my bridesmaids up and bring us to the church. After the ceremony we have a one hour ride to the reception. So, the entire bridal party and us will ride together to the reception with a photo stop on the way along the water. The fun part - the surprise!!!! The limo has 2 flat screen tvs with a dvd player. So I am making a DVD of pictures I have collected over the years of our entire wedding party. Some really goofy ones too!!!! I can't wait to see their reaction when they see all of these pics of themselves on the tvs :)

The cost saver on this limo was that he gave a really cheap rate compared to all of the other limo companies because we booked a year in advance and he gave us an additional hour free.
