Wedding Gift Registry
When and Where??
I have no idea when i should register. how early is too early? and how many places should your register at?
I looked at a list of things that people often register for.. and some just seem kind of rediculous.. do any of you have any pointers on what you have or are going to register for? we are moving in a new house soon so there is really a lot we could ask for |

Black Tie event??
so. i really want this wedding to be the best it can be OBVISOULY.. and we really are putting a lot into this.. this is not a cheap wedding by any means.. I've been to weddings that says "formal event" on it and people still show up in pants and lozy clothes. i feel like if we are celebrating like this i think the guys should all be in dress pants and i dont see why woman cant get dressed up for a day
i'm not expecting everyone to get a $200 dress and a new suit so i dont know what to put on the invites.. should i put black tie event so everyone gets the point.. or should i just put formal event |

Wedding Dress
The kind of Dress i really want :)
So i want a full one with the a unique look to it! Something with the gathering and a nice courset bodice... here are a few ones i like :) oh and i want a train as well. if you've seen any like this somewhat let me know!

we found our venue!!
Davians in Menomonee Falls, WI. its beautiful.. has great wedding packages and wonderful help.. it will be so pretty i cant wait to start doing the details of the decor of the wedding.any creative ideas let me know!!
here are some things that we are getting with our wedding: *covers with ties on all chairs *20" eiffel tower vases *Champagne Fountain *4 Hors d'oeurves *4 hours open bar *free wine, beer, and soda all night *white glove service *2 entree's on each plate *European Coffee table 9-11pm *Chocolate Dipping Fountain *light effects throughout the room (blues and purples) thats what we got so far.. any ideas of course let me know!! |

Bridesmaids

so we are having blue and purple in our wedding. i thought it would be fun to have every other couple different.
Like if the guy is wearing blue, the girl he's with is wearing purple.. just to make things a little different.. and of course that would mean men would wear purple and then the girl would wear blue. luckly every guy that is standing up in it will be able to handle that just fine. my only thing is i want it to be floor length dresses. so i looked around a little bit and found a few cute ones.. i'll add more as we go. and if any of you have seen any that the colors would work out let me know and we'll go check them out! ok Nicole Becker, Emily Mazaurek, Annie Lundy, Linda Ledger, and Emily McGinnis.. we have to get a date set soon to check out some dresses.. here are a few ideas so keep and eye out when your out shopping. |

my idea.. how i would love the reception to be
ok so we arent MILLIONAIRES.. but right when i saw christina agulara's wedding i just fell in love... i knew i wanted ours like that. it clearly wont be as extravagent.. but we definetly want some what of a glowing effect like how these photos i found of weddings are. we are going with purple and blues.. i'm not that into pink but that little bit of pink in it does look good. so we'll see.
i know one thing i really want to do to make it really glow is have vases (tall) with lights in them, either blue or purple, because that is one way i could really make the room glow.. i know BJ is set on draping fabric from the ceiling .. the only thing is that a lot of the halls will not allow that from what i have asked them. they have so many things you cannot do its rediculous! if any of you have other ideas on how to really set the mood and make things glow let me know! thanks! |
