Ask a Question
Are You Going to "Trash the Dress"?!

Photobucket
I am doing a "trash" the dress session after the wedding and I am freakin' excited about it!
It won't be anything too extravagant - something that dry cleaning will be able to get out.

We are planning on doing party of the session at the shop with FH's dump truck, excavator and backhoe - something that he is so excited for. The second half will be done at a beach just 5 minutes from our place. I want to be able to go into the water and have some amazing shots!

A co-worker of mine does photography on the side and I have asked her to do the shoot for us. The picture I posted is actaully from her wedding and since it's her first trash the dress session, she isn't charging us anything for it [bonus!].

I definitely want to do a session with just my dress after the wedding, but on the same page as you, nothing severe that cannot be reversed, after that though I want to have my dress converted into a shorter dress that I can wear over and over again

I really want to do this too. I was thinking maybe the day after. My mom is hosting a 'brunch' for us but that should be over by 1 or so. I would love to do one on the beach where we are getting married. I still have to talk it over with my photographer to see if we can afford it. Hopefully we can! If not I might make it for the fall sometime.. and do a shoot at a lake or something someplace.
