Holy Crap- 9 DAYS!
I am getting ready to send my seating chart and my Guest Book Tree to the printers. They will both be printed as 20x30 as a poster.
Originally, I asked a friend to draw a replica of the tree. I bought a 20x30 foam Bristol board which had some gloss effect to it. When I received the tree, I felt horrible…. I hated it. Not only did he enlarge the whole tree but he made it a lot fatter and I don’t know, it just didn’t “WOW” me how I thought it would. The person who did it is a really close family friend and he is an amazing artist, I’m just not too sure if I am being too picky or not.
Not only did I not like it, when FH and I stamped our thumbs on it (to make Bride and Groom owls in the tree) the ink didn’t stick and bubbled up (like if you take a water proof marker onto a photo or something). So now I am onto plan 2. I am getting this printed professionally 20x30 non-gloss paper. The grey around the tree will be taken out and I will also have our monogram (designed by JTHERRIE) at the bottom. Like this:

The seating chart was actually a lot easier to do. I designed it in Microsoft Publisher, which will let you make your images larger without the blur. Originally, I was planning on having it ‘portrait’ style, but then when I went to my decorators, I saw a seating chart on the same aisle but it was in ‘landscape’ style and I loved it even more. It was actually easier for me to have my tables (all 17) laid out like this and less overwhelming (to me).
