With school starting up again, and being in need of a part time job, stres was definetly no stranger in my life. I had become the person I hate... a bitch. I was stressed about everything. The love of my life Tyler, had just told me that his school payments were due sooner than expected, so he had to use the savings account that was holding my ring money. I was never going to get engaged, at least thats how I felt. He told me he wanted to take me out on a date, and not to plan anything for Sunday. By Saturday I was exhausted, I had put in 30 hours at school, 29 hours at work and was going to be working 6am-2pm on Sunday.... our date wasn't looking as if it would happen. I had came home from work, and told my parents I was going to take a nap, called Tyler to tell him we'd have to reschedule I was just too tired. He said to just take a nap, wake up shower and get ready he just wanted to spend a few hours with me, and then I could sleep. I got ready, drove to his house and we went to dinner in St. Catharines at Doms Downtown. We talked about school and work, and the usual things, after dinner he said he wanted to take me somewhere.... on the way I recongized where we were going, Port Delhousie. I asked him if we were going to ride the Carousel..... he started laughing and said he could never surprise me. He told me he had booked the carousel for an hour for just him and I...one hour of not talking about school or work or money.. just an hour to sit together and ride the carousel. When we arrived, he had an archway over the entrance with lights and sunflowers (my favourite)... I couldn't get over how romantic he was. We sat in a sleigh seat and around we went... he told me he had a surprise for me on the carousel and to go find it... i walked around and he had a sleigh seat decorated with rose petals, sunflowers, ribbon the works.. I looked at him and told him he was the sweetest boy I'd ever met.. all of this to take my mind off of work and school. We sat down, and he pulled out a book.... he told me it was a book they had to read in highschool. It was a book of shakespearian poetry... on the last page he had written me a poem.... He told me how much he loved me, how happy he's been since the day he met me and the last line he asked me to marry him, i looked up and there he was, on his knee with the biggest smile, and the prettiest ring in his hand. The tears rolled down my cheeks, and I said "yes."
