Second thoughts
City hall or bigger wedding?

I know that I love the idea of Chris & I having the whole wedding ordeal... with the walking down the aisle, the I do's, the bouquet toss, etc. BUT I'm really beginning to believe that maybe getting married at City hall would be just fine. Have any of you ladies done this? What is your take on it?

My husband and I went down to city hall last June and got married but are now planning a small ceremony for our family and friends this June. It was nice to get the legal part over with especially since I needed to be covered under his insurance and we're letting his mother plan most of the ceremony for this June.

honestly, i really wouldn't mind city hall- we've actually talked about doing that in secret. unfortunately, our families would never forgive us. yeah, the big wedding's nice and everything but city hall would be so much less stress and could be just as fun.

It honestly depends on you and what it is you want. If you arent bothered whatsoever with fuss and dresses and the minute detail associated with planning then this is definitely the way to go. Its fuss and stress free and is alot of brides idea of heaven. There is nothing wrong with that either at the end of the day sometimes we get so caught up in the small things we forget about the main thing here the getting married to the person we love, regardless where this is and what the venue is like its the act and the 2 people that only matter!
