Wedding Reception
Purple signature drink ideas for the reception

Im trying to find cool purple drinks to match our purple themed wedding and I found a few alcoholic drinks but I also will have a lemonade drink with purple food coloring also.

Purple Turtle:
1oz coconut rum.....1oz triple sec.....2 oz cranberry juice.....1/2 oz blue curacao

Purple Russian:
1oz blue curacao....1oz vodka.....1oz 7-up or sprite.....3 dashes grenadine syrup

Purple People Eater:
1oz vodka.....1oz hypnotic.....2oz ranberry juice.....1 tblspn sugar water...topped with club soda

Purple Haze Martini:

* 1 oz. freshly squeezed pomegranate juice* or
POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
* 1 1/2 oz. Hpnotiq
* 1 1/2 oz. pineapple juice
* Orange rind and apple slice for garnish

Directions:

* 1. Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker over ice.

* 2. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass.

* 3. Garnish with orange rind and apple slice.

PURPLE Martini
* 2 oz vodka
* 3/4 oz PURPLE juice drink
* 1/2 oz triple sec

1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Purple Moon
1 oz Vodka
1 oz cherry mix
1 oz blue kool-aid mix
1/2 lemonade mix
1/2 cranberry juice
Ice (shade) rocks or blended frozen

The Palm Purple Martini

4oz. PurpleTM
2oz. Ketel Citron
Splashes of Triple Sec and sour mix

Fill a shaker with 1/2 cup ice. Combine All ingredients; Shake and Strain into a large chilled martini glass

Purple Mojo

1 oz. PurpleTM
1 1/2 oz. White Rum
3 3/4 oz. fresh squeezed lime
1 oz. Simple Syrup
Mint leaves
Soda
1 Mint sprig for garnish

Muddle the mint leaves in a mixing glass with the lime and sugar syrup
Add the spirits and the PurpleTM
shake with ice
Strain into a 12-ounce rocks glass or highball glass and top with a splash of soda.
Garnish with the mint sprig

Purple Slush

1oz. PurpleTM
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon /Rum 1/2 oz. fresh lemon
Simple Syrup
Mint sprig for garnish

Shake all the ingredients well with ice and serve over crushed ice.
Garnish with a mint sprig Coarsely Crushed Ice Oversized Glass
Pour plenty of PurpleTM
Add Bourbon or Rum of choice, to taste
Sip slowly

Purple-Rita

1 oz. PurpleTM
1 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Cointreau
Fresh lime juice to taste
Simple yrup

Shake in ice
Strain and serve in a martini glass with a rim coated with Salt

Purple-Tini

3 Parts PurpleTM 1 Part vodka
Place in a shaker with ice
Fresh lime to taste

Shake well Strain and Serve in a frozen martini glass Garnish with lemon shoelace

Purple Avalanche

1oz - Absolute Citron
1/2 - Lemonade
1/2 - PurpleTM

Fill a tall glass with ice, add Absolute, then fill glass with half Lemonade and half PurpleTM

Purple Waves

1 oz. PurpleTM
1 oz. White Rum
1 oz. Dark Rum
1/2 oz. Cherry Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup


Shake with ice
Strain over ice into a Tall Glass
Garnish with a pineapple slice and a cherry

Purple Pinball

1 1/2 oz. PurpleTM
1 1/2 oz. Gin
4 oz. Seven Up

Pour all over ice in a highball glass
Garnish to taste

Purple Surfer

Poolside/Surfside Party Punch

Use a standard 2 quart pitcher,Fill well with ice. Add the following ingredients:

8 oz Coconut Rum
4 oz Light Rum
4 oz Dark / Spiced Rum
12 oz Pineapple Juice
4 oz Sour Mix
2 oz Blue Curacao
10 oz of PurpleTM

Mix well or shake and serve cold on a hot sunny day!

Purple Sweet-Heart

1 oz. PurpleTM
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Cointreau
Fresh lime to taste

Shake well in ice
Strain into a frozen martini glass
Garnish with a lemon rind shoelace


Purple Cow
Scale ingredients to 80 servings
160 scoops vanilla ice cream
480 oz red grape juice

Pour grape juice over ice cream in large glass/cup of choice and blend until smooth. Can add more or less juice depending on desired thickness. Serve immediately with straw and long handled spoon.

I was wondering which recipe went with the picture for the "darktini" that is at the top of the page to the left, the last photo. That is the exact color of the bridesmaid dresses and I have been searching for a purple drink for months now....any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
