futuremrspearce09's Pink wedding

Okay so like I said the FI and I were going to work on the cake card box.....we cut all the insides and the slot for the cards....glued everything and started to spray paint the first layer....I thought it needed more coats because it looked blotchy..so we did a couple more coats. And it looks great! So I went to Michaels tonight to get somethings to decorate and I went into the isle with the supplies to decorate purses, totes, etc. and found these great dangly ribbons with hearts (haha I don't know what you would call them) and played around with it until I decided which colors, etc. would look the best! Then I used tacky glue to glue the little rhinestones around the slit for the cards.....it was tedious but it looked great when it was done and really didn't take me more than a half an hour.

I need to go back and get more of the dangly ribbon stuff to do the bottom layer but I have plenty of the dark pink ribbon and then it's done....I love it sooo much! These are our colors perfectly and I'm so excited!!


Oh and I also bought a single hole punch in the shape of a heart and took my paper for the wishing jar and the FI punched them in the bottom right hand corner for me! I kept the confetti from it, not sure if I'll do anything from it, but it's a bunch of mini dark and light pink hearts! So who knows

And I found my pink metallic pens for the light pink paper for the wishing jar.....woo hoo, I just ended up buying more silver pens to match the pink ones, I wanted them all to look the same, and I will find a way to make the pens look cute!
