Just using the hot glue gun! :)
I had posted a LONG time ago my flower girl basket, I didn't have the damask ribbon before but I hot glued it all down tonight and this is the finished basket! I think it's cute, simple.....and the vase is for the wishing jar...guests will put the precut dark and light pink pieces I cut out with wishes, advice, etc.

At this point even if it's tiny, anything makes me feel so relieved that it's off the list!

But I love in the email about who's commented on your post that they put a link!!! haha before it would always be the subtitle and it took me forever to figure out which post someone commented on but now there is a direct link! Reception shoes!!!
Yay! I stopped by the mall after work and went into H&M and found these cute flates....they unfortunately look purplish in the picture but they are pink, SO cute and sooo comfy, and best of all they were only $15!!! They had them in black but not in my size, I definitely would have got them for everyday use!

Hooray to ONE more thing off the checklist!

Two more months!
ahhh I can't believe it!
Time is going by freakishly fast!! haha

Mailing out the rest of the invites this morning before I go to work!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!! I sent some out friday and some people got them! Hooray!

I feel so good right now, everything is wonderful, my to do list is small, we have lots of fun things going on to keep us busy for the next two months! I can't believe we've been engaged for 11 months! And we are FINALLY getting married in two months! By the time we get married we'll have been together 5 1/2 years....I'm so so excited to start our lives as a MARRIED couple! Can't wait! I'm so excited for friends and family to be coming in around the wedding, some of them it's been way too long since we've seen them!

We are thinking about and probably will have the rehearsal dinner at his mom's house, SO EXCITED...it'll be totally casual and very much fun! And that way we are more flexible with our time!


Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay, I feel like I could write a book on how excited I am today!!! But I won't! Off to put the invites in the mail!

The rest are finished and glued!
Ohhhhh what a relief!!! They actually took me forever to glue, then stamp and stuff and seal! Ahhh I was so relieved to do the last one.

On Thursday I hand delivered our neighbors because I had it pretty much ready and they just had mowed our lawn, so I went over to say thanks and thought I would take the opportunity to give them the invite since they vacation a lot and I wanted to catch them when I knew they were home. The husband is also our wedding photographer! :) So they were technically the first ones to get an invite!!

Then I remembered I had like 10 extra zazzle stamps from our save the dates!! Which as everyone knows, are expensive!!!! So I had already glued about 10 invites so I used the rest of the zazzle stamps and got them in the mail friday because come Monday they wouldn't be good anymore since the rates will change! Thank goodness I remembered them, I would have been so mad to find them after Monday! So I sent the first ones out to our parents, grandparents, MOH and Best man, and like 2 others

So I glued the rest today and packaged them up and they are all ready to go out! I'll stick them in the mail first thing Monday!

I can't believe we are so close that we are sending out INVITES! Yipeeee!!! His best man spent the night last night and he came over last night after I was asleep so when he saw me this morning he hummed "dum dum da dum" to me, lol funny.

Well I hope all the mommies have a wonderful Mothers day tomorrow, you all deserve a wonderful, relaxing day! :)



****OH I THOUGHT I SHOULD MENTION, I KNOW SOME GIRLS HAVE SAID IT ON HERE BUT GET YOUR INVITES WEIGHED BEFORE YOU PUT STAMPS ON, I DID AND I'M GLAD BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MAD IF I ASSUMED IT WAS FINE AND WASN'T, LUCKILY IT WAS AND THEY DIDN'T WEIGH A LOT.

ANNNNNND THE LADY TOLD ME IF YOU HAVE A PERFECT SQUARE INVITE THAT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA BECAUSE IT WON'T GO THROUGH THE MACHINE....SO IF IT'S A RECTANGLE, IT'S OKAY BUT IF IT'S A SQUARE THEN FIND OUT HOW MUCH IT IS TO SEND BEFORE BUYING/PUTTING ON ALL THE STAMPS

2nd dress fitting was today
Woo hoo to more things off of the list!! I went to my 2nd dress fitting today with Chance's mom, we had such a nice day! All I did was get cups put in ($20)! And I don't really need anymore alterations so I got lucky! In total on alterations I spent $60! All I needed was bustle and cups! woo hoo....no hem or anything.

So I got my veil, pretty plain, about elbow, 1 tier and I love love love looooove it and best part is it was only $50.

I also got my necklace, earrings, hair pins and bracelet!!!

So I thought I'd share the pictures of what I got (minus the veil)

My updated to do list
or should I say
I just realized that I get 4 more paychecks until the wedding!!!! YIKES....well 5 because I get paid the day of thank goodness so that will pay for my hair and such that day and have a little extra spending money that I can take on the honeymoon. I get paid bi-weekly so that's why I only have that much left!

So here are the things I need to buy...and this is EVERYTHING I can possibly think of!


-My jewelry and veil (going to buy that this MORNING at my 2nd dress fitting)
-Flower girl dresses
-Dress for rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, bachelorette party
-Either place cards or seating chart sign
-Stamps for invites (going out today or tomorrow to get them)
-Gifts for bridal party/parents
-Some sort of holder for pens and paper for "wishing bowl"
-Reception shoes
-My hair/make up trial (will be about $120)
-Thank you cards for the bridal shower/bachelorette party
-My manicure/pedicure/eyebrows a few days before wedding
-A couple outfits/new bathing suit for honeymoon
-A large picture frame and stand to put a nice picture of us at the reception
-Take and then print out pictures for the table number frames
-Some sort of decoration for our sweetheart table....a damask runner maybe? Thinking about getting one for the cake table too.
-Silver spray paint to spray the unity candle holders that now have bronzed in the box! Ugh
-Favors and accessories (only about $20! Chocolate covered pretzels, already made favor tags)
-Marriage license



Hmmmmm I think that's it....I guess it looks scarier than at is but it's definitely do able. Now lets just hope everything else in my life stays cheap haha and I can do this before the wedding! :)

Found a really cute place card idea
Especially for crystal trees
I was looking on the knot this morning and I found this picture! It says they made canopies to hang these from but I have no idea what that would look like...but you could probably just make a crystal tree and hang these from it!!

I looked on ebay and they have crystals like these 100 for $45! And then you would need to make a tree....it would end up being a little pricier than other options but I think it's cute and unique

Starting tanning today!
I'm so pale!
haha I haven't gotten much sun in what seems like years! I went today during lunch a bought a 1 month unlimited tanning package and it's literally less than 5 minutes away so I can go on my way in to work, during lunch or right before I leave to go home, it's very convenient! We have two and a half months but I want to make sure I'm tan for the make up trial so I can see what it'll REALLY be like...also it may affect what colors we choose? Who knows and I want to be tan for any wedding related activities before the wedding! It was $45.95 for one month and that should get me to where I want to be and then I'll probably purchase 100 minutes for 21 dollars to keep up before the wedding :)

Our wedding colors are black and white with some hot pink mixed in :) My fiance and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and we couldn't be more in love and happier to be getting married! I just can't wait to be Mrs. Pearce!! :)
