 doubts |
So much to do yet...
having doubts doesn't help either
There is still so much to do yet; or so it feels. The cold feet aren't helping either. We have really been having some problems. Some things came up last Friday that had me tell my parents it was off. Yes, it was that serious. But, here we are. Is it pathetic that we will have to start off our marriage as soon as we come home from our honeymoon going to therapy???? My FH stayed home from work over the weekend to iron things out with me and we are going to go through with it. My stomache is in so many knots. The plus side was a nice night out with my friends over the weekend for my bachlorette party (my friends had/have no idea what was going on). Three days and I am still having doubts that this is the right thing. The "Let Go and Let God" is hard for me, but I am trying.

My Bridal Shower
Held a few Sundays ago.
What a great time, great food, great gifts, and great friends and family! The little brown haired girl is my flower girl, Sarah. The older girl is my youngest daughter, 11 y/o Samantha. My mom did a great job with the decorations! And our family friend made this awesome cake!

Any 2nd Time Brides Out There?
I was just wondering. This will be my second marriage, however, it will be my first wedding. I got married the first time in 1996, when I was 25. We had a retired minister and stood outside on a hill by a canal and a wonderful old restaurant that my sister's, then, bf's family owned. I had three wonderful children (one single and one set of twins; already had a three y/o when I got married), but the marriage did not last more than 3 years. Anyway, I never thought I would marry again until I met Roy. We met on Match.com (again, NEVER thought I would even be looking at a match making website and better yet, NEVER thought I'd find someone so wonderful!) and went on our first date on January 6, 2006...and here we are! Anyway...is anyone else doing this for a second, third, fourth time even??? If so, did you do it big the first time or J.P. like I did?

Our seating card table
I found this great frame at Walmart last year. It holds 8 photos, so one of them will hold my baby picture, one my FH's, one my parent's wedding photo, one my FIL's, and then the remaining four hold each set of grandparents wedding photos (the empty spots is waiting for the last picture of my FH's grandparents that his Aunt is bringing the day before the wedding; I pray she does not forget!!) . I am making the seating cards myself on the computer. We will have red rose petals scattered around and maybe either candles or small vases with flowers on either side of the frame.

Wedding Reception
My centerpieces are NO MORE
Well, I got the bad news yesterday from our friends growing the white pumpkins for us.....They are not going to be....I was upset, but funny thing, I got over it in a hurry.....So, I have changed the centerpieces to wide mouth glass containers with sand, red gem/stones and white pillar candles or red pillar candles and black stones...have to make a mock up and see which I like better.
