Some Ideas For You Ladies
![]() A Gift Basket Shower Guests bring a gift basket or box full of little goodies for the newly weds. The guests should label their basket, and perhaps put a list of what their basket contains. This will help them when it comes to sending out their thank you cards. Kitchen Shower Guests bring gifts designed for the specific room, it need not be the kitchen, it could also be the bathroom, or bedroom, or any room really. The bride to be can wear an apron or an item of clothing during the entire shower to set the tone of the bridal shower. Lingerie Have lingerie party or even a pajama party. Guests can bring gifts of lingerie or pyjamas. These parties can be great fun, and often have a reputation of getting out of hand quickly. Recipe Shower Guests can bring recipes that they think the bride and groom may enjoy. They may even bring a little taster that everyone can taste. Stock the bar One of the other ideas for the bridal shower is a stock the bar shower. Guests bring all sorts of drink types, beer, wine or spirits for the new couple bar at their home. |

Here Are Some Ideas For a Bridal Shower
![]() Just searching for ideas for my MOH and came across this. Hope it helps someone like it helped us. :) Wishing Well Guests can bring little goodies that they put into a basket at the bridal shower. The gifts should be small and useful, such as pens or hand help can openers. These will always be used by the newly weds. Guest Book Have a guest book handy that all the guests can sign and write a little message for the newly weds. Penny Game Give the guests a hand full of pennies. The guest then take turn telling everyone something they have done. If their is another guest that has done the same thing, then they put a penny into a jar or hat. This is a great way for guests to get to know each other. Familiarizing Getting everyone at the bridal showers to break the ice can be hard. A good idea then is to get each guest to full out a card that has a few questions about them. Then get everyone to read out there responses You can even give out little prizes for best answer or most original answer. |

Bridal Shower Games
Here are some Printable Bridal Shower Games I Found
![]() Here are some ideas for bridal shower games I came across and some printable ones too. Hope this helps someone. Here's a link to some ADOBE printable one's as well. http://www.weddingfavorsunlimited.com/Free_Bridal_Shower_Games.html Trivia This is a great one for seeing who really knows the most about the bride and groom. Have a list of questions you can ask the guests about the bride and groom, where they met, what their favorite restaurant is, favorite move, etc., . The Wedding is Over This one can be great fun. What you need to do is pretend that the wedding is over, and the bride and groom are at the honeymoon location and their is a power failure. So what you need to do is have a suitcase that has been "packed" for the honeymoon. You can pack the suitcase with all sorts of things, like sunglasses, men's underwear, a huge bra, gloves and all sorts of goodies. You then blind fold the bride and she needs to get changed and ready for the honeymoon night. The Groom This is similar to the trivia game, but this time the guests ask the groom a series of questions before the bridal shower, that they then ask the bride. You can also pre-read the questions to everyone at the bridal shower, and they can write down how many they think the bride will get correct. Wedding Bingo This you can play by giving the guests a blank card each. The guests then write down what they think the bride to be's gifts will be. As she unwraps them, the guests tick off the gifts from the list. The first guest to have a full list, or the most correct wins. Word Scramble |

Spanxs Has Anyone Tried These?
![]() I've been searching on the internet the last couple of days and have found numerous spanx like items a lot cheaper than "spanxs". I was wondering if anyone has actually tried spanxs or a similar product. If so how do they work? Will an off brand like at JcPenny's work just the same? Any and ALL advice is wanted/needed. Thank you in advance. |

Unique Creative Ideas Needed for Valentines Day
![]() Do any of you have any unique creative ideas for Valentines Day? Maybe something you've done for your FH in the past or plan on doing next month? My FH isn't really into the whole mushy stuff so I'm trying to think of something that he will actual like, get some use out of, yet show him how much I love him. Sometimes I just think it's a waste of money... buying the stuff animals that lye around the house for years. |

Ultimate Vintage Bouquet
![]() How's this for the ultimate bouquet alternative for a vintage-loving bride? This bouquet, made by studiodelfiore in Portland, OR, is crafted from roughly 75 vintage brooches, earrings, and rings. As portlandneatsheet.com notes, this is "a sweet way to incorporate meaningful family gems and jewels into your wedding day." I just love this bouquet!! Thought some of you brides would too. |
