Spread The Love OR Candy Buffet?
Please vote....
I originally planned to have a candy buffet with old fashion candy; however I found this cute idea for 'Spread the Love' favors. I can't decide. With the jelly I would ask my FMIL to help me make her famous pomegranate jelly that she makes every Thanksgiving for the family. The yellow fabric in the picture would be red, same blue color with red 'love' letters. For the candy buffet I was going to purchase 'Tiffany blue' take out boxes and tie a red ribbon around them. They would be empty and placed on the tables with a note saying "Love is Sweet, please help yourself to our treats" or something like that. I'm thinking the candy buffet will be much more expensive than the jelly favors. Hmmm what to do?? Advice needed..... Which one should be our favors? |

Red Roses & Blue Mason Jars
I won my blue Mason Jars the other night on Ebay! I'm so excited to get them.
I'm doing blue mason jars with red roses as our centerpieces on every other table. I think this will give a vintage yet classy look to the tables. What do you girls think? |

Do You Know Where to Find Red Brooches?
Please help... I've looked everywhere for simular deep red brooches like these and can't seem to find any. If I do find one that I like it's over $100 and that's just not going to work b/c I need 3.
I'm using them for the center of the bows on our wedding cake (see picture 3). If you know where I can purchase simular brooches please let me know. They don't even have to be brooches just something simular. Thank you =-)  |

Thank you girls for all your input. We decided to go with this cake and we couldnt be happier!
We met with our cake lady this Saturday and she loved it as well. We decided to go with Tiffany blue with with ribbon and the centers will be red blinged out broches. I can't wait to see it. Thank you again girls for all your help |

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - U.S. actress Brittany Murphy, who co-starred in such films as "Clueless" and "Girl, Interrupted" but saw her career wane in recent years, died in Los Angeles on Sunday after suffering cardiac arrest in her bathroom, officials said. She was 32.
I loved Brittany in Clueless...one of my favorite movies. So very sad Murphy was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center about 10 a.m. PST (1800 GMT), two hours after her mother reportedly found her unconscious in the shower of the actress' Hollywood Hills home. A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Coroner said there were no suspicious circumstances, but that an autopsy would take place in the next few days. Celebrity gossip Web site TMZ, which first broke the news, reported late on Sunday that there was "a significant amount of vomit" in the bathroom area. It said Murphy had been taking medications for 'flu-like symptoms for several days, and that there were a lot of prescriptions in the house. There was no immediate word from Murphy's publicist beyond a statement that was issued on behalf of her family: "The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy. She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time." |

Menu With No Options??
Should I do a menu for our guests even if we're not having food options?
We're serving Mexican food and were going with ALL chicken ( I know there's not vegetarians), a chicken taco, and a chicken enchilada with beans, rice, small salad, and chip n salsa. I love the look of having the menus on the table; however..... Should I have them if they're not getting to pick and choose what they want? Please help |

HELP!! What Should I Do??
My Bridesmaid just told me My FH & I arent invited to her wedding! One of my bridesmaid planned to get married right after I asked her to be apart of our wedding. Not a problem; however, last night I got an Announcement in the mail for their wedding just addressed to myself. It basically said, not in so many words.... We're getting married, sorry youre not invited but please send us a gift! OMG!!!! Are you serious!?!
Just to be sure I messaged her today and sure enough her response was "I'm sorry but our families are really big and we can't invite you, but if anything changes I'll let you know" OMG AGAIN!! She's inviting over 200 people and our wedding guest list is only 100 and I'm inviting her husband. I just couldnt believe it. I'm so close to just telling her sorry but it's just not going to work out and I found someone to replace you in the wedding. This is the girl who told me "sorry we cant go to your bachelorette party to Vegas b/c we can't afford it" even though I gave them over a year to save for it. This is the girl who told me "sorry I can't pay to get my hair and makeup done for your wedding b/c we can't afford it"!!!! What should I do girls? Should I not stoop to her level and just keep her in my wedding or should I tell her that she's been replaced. Honestly I'm more hurt than angry about the whole situation. ***Sorry If I wasn't clear...(so upset). She is one of my bridesmaids and she didn't invite me to her wedding that is taking place two months before my wedding. She did send me an announcement though saying basically even though youre not invited, here's where we're registered at to send us a gift!! |

Found My Bird Cage Veil
What do you girls think of my bird cage veil? It's actually a headband which I totally love!! I found it at Davids Bridal for a little over $100. If you look closely you can actually see MY DRESS!! That's right girls I finally found my dress. I'm not going to post a picture of it just yet b/c I'm having them add a corset to the back and make it into a sweetheart neck. I CANT WAIT to see it all finished. =-)
