Crinoline and Shoes - I need your help!
Ladies -
I have decided I would like to dye my crinoline hot pink to match the accent color in my wedding. Have any of you done this or know how? Do you just buy hot pink fabric dye from the store and use it in the washing machine? I am worried it will ruin the washer inside and/or the crinoline. ALSO.... I found a pair of shoes on ebay I want to buy but they are from the UK and the sizes they offer are U5 U6 U7 and I have no idea if these are equivalent to US sizes. I wear a 71/2 in the US. I have the invites pictured here on this post. However, I want to buy outer envelopes to put them in. I remember reading from one of you on here which size to buy (I am going to use www.envelopperinc.com) but I can't find the post where the size to buy was specified. Goodie Bags - flower girl and ring bearer
Here are the pics of the "goodie bags" I made to put the flower girl and ring bearer's gifts in. I am pretty pleased with the way they turned out. Bought the actual bags for $3.99 at Michaels and the letters were on sale for around $2.00 for the green and the black. The bear was like 79 cents and then I had to buy the 3 colors of paint for 59 cents a bottle. The flowers came in a pack for $2.00. Not too shabby!

Changed the bridesmaid dress yet again. This time its for sure though because my cousin has ordered hers. I am really happy with the dress and it looks so nice on all the girls. This was the one that had originally caught my eye on the Davids Bridal website when I first got engaged.

Card Box
So I found the most beautiful card box online, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the $114 it cost. So, I decided to make my own. It doesn't look as nice as the original, but I am pretty happy with it.
FH has to cut the slot for the cards to go in tomorrow. I think I want to add something more, but don't know what. Maybe something on top for some added height? I don't know... Any suggestions? |

Update: new cake and baker
All right so I changed my mind about the cake that I had originally wanted. (Pics posted a few blogs back). The new one will be made by someone who was recommended to me by a girl at work. My cake will look like this except it will have a black ribbon and black swirls. At the base of the black ribbon will be a rhinestone chain for some bling :) I decided this cake looked a lot fancier than the other one, and went with the feel of my wedding much better!
