Wedding Accent Color

Ladies...

I have a dilemma and I need your help!! The main colors of my wedding are black and white, in a damask pattern. I am in need of one or two accent colors that would go nicely with this. I know it's easy to match anything to black and white, I just can't make up my mind. The wedding is in the Fall but I don't want to do traditional Fall decor with leaves and pinecones and such. The accent colors would be used for the sash color on my girls' black dresses, flowers and other little decorations at the reception. Anyone have any ideas or pictures for me??? Thanks soo much!!

My wedding is in October and our color are black and white as well. We went with the elegant combination of accenting in red...you can see pics on my blog about centerpieces and such.

Basically there won't be a lot of red but there will be some on each table. Me and FH and our family's wedding flowers are red...everyone elses are white...so we have that there as well.

I also have a cute pair of red satin shoes I will wear for reception and such and my garter will be b&w damask with red satin.

We tossed around the ideas of doing the fall theme but I didn't want it to be cheesy and I so could not FIND any Bridesmaid dresses I liked in a fall color so we opted for black and I still had a hard time finding a black BM  dress I liked.

Black and White weddings seem to be pretty popular and most of us tend to add in shades of pink or red.

I've seen a lot of B&W and fuschia and I think it looks really sharp.  It's not tradtionally fall, but it's really contemporary.

How about turquoise or a deep teal color?  That would be a bold and beautiful color with damask print.  For a 2nd color you could go with silver that should help decoration color combinations ideas easier for you.  Good Luck!

Definitely try eggshell yellow...It is a beautiful combination.  I just saw it in a wedding july 4th.

i saw a wedding with red as the accent color and it looked beautiful and i also saw one with fuscia and it was stunning it really popped out nicely:)

fuchsia of course :).  those are my colors black & white damask and fuchsia.  i also like damask  with turquoise, red, or apple green.

I originally thought I was going to do black and white damask with apple green and a candy dark red. I think that would be nice for fall and very elegant.  I also love aqua/teal blue and canary yellow.

I'm using Plum...but any "jewel tone" color would work, royal blue, burgundy, etc. I started with a peacock feather as my inspiration but ended up only keeping the plum and adding damask, go figure!

Our accent color will be pea green kind of a mix of celadon and lime.  We'll have a fall wedding as well.  The flowers are looking great!
