Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom gift bags

Girls --

I need your opinions. I have been seeing Mother of the groom and Mother of the Bride gift bags at different wedding sites lately. Are any of you doing this? If so, what sort of things are you putting in them??

I am doing them up for my girls with different toiletries they may need during the day, a picture frame with all of us from the bachelorette party, flip flops, necklace/earring set to wear during the ceremony and a gift certificate for their hair to be done for the wedding.

Would I put the same sort of things in the Mother's bags??

they  are cute but I dont think my mom would use it and his mom probably wouldn't use it either... still havent decided what I'm giving them...

I kind of thought the same thing about my mom and his as well. I just don't see them carrying these bags with the same type of things I am putting in them for my girls. Just wondered what you all thought or if you had suggestions as to what to put in them.

If I had these bags, I would use them almost as a gift bag to house other items that are more to their liking.  The bags in itself are adorable, & I'm sure they'll be flattered when they see them.
I would probably put a handkerchief inside, and maybe a picture of them on their own wedding day.  Maybe a pretty pashmina shawl to wear.
