Wedding Flowers
Bouquets-How do you pick?
I would like to use blue hydrangeas for the bouquets for all of the girls but for mine I would like to add white roses or calla lillies to it. I will be adding at the very top and center a white rose that has pink around the edges as a symbol for my grandmother that passed away 3 months ago. We used those for her funeral and they were breathtaking and I know how much she would've loved them so I would like one in my bouquet. I have a few designs that I have found that I really like but I'm not totally sure on which I like better?

Any Suggestions on favorites??

Centerpiece Ideas
So many to choose from!
I was thinking about centerpieces and whether I wanted flowers or candles. I love both so I thought about doing half and half but I dont know if I like that Idea. Here are pictures of some of the ideas that I really like for the reception. I want it to have a romantic and classy feel to it. I love the candle one a lot. Its probably my favorite. I just hope that I can figure out how to do this without being so expensive!

Ceremony Site
Wildwood Preserve Gazebo
When we were first beginning our wedding planning, I had contemplated having the wedding ceremony at Wildwood. But I scratched the idea because we decided to plan a wedding in Las Vegas. Well, we are now back to planning a wedding here in Toledo and so I went back to Wildwood to look into using the Gazebo for the ceremony. Luckily, it wasn't booked for our weekend. Its now officially our ceremony spot! Our wedding will be the only one going on at the park that afternoon, which is perfect. I hope you enjoy the lovely pictures that we took of the Gazebo! Our pictures afterward will also be taken around the park. We are unsure of our photographer as of yet but will hopefully be making that decision shortly!

Reception Site

The reception was something that we were definetly having trouble nailing down. I originally wanted everything fancy and way over the top, but my wallet had other intentions. Terry remembered the place where his brother had his wedding reception years back and said that we should look into that. So I hopped online to see if I could find anything and I actually found the website for the hall. I was shocked at how nice it looked and so we called and set up an appointment to go look at it. Turns out it works out perfect for us. It holds approximately 250 people, has been recently updated with all new kitchen appliances and the bar area is all new too. The bar is seperate from the actual hall, which is something that I actually like about the hall. I'm so happy about the price!! We are renting it for under $550!! This isn't including anything but the hall and tables and chairs but thats fine with me. Oh, and the color on the walls actually goes with our wedding colors!!! So that was fun to see!

Wedding Dress
OMG I LOVE IT!!!!
Ok, so it started back in May when my MOH had made an appointment at the local salon where she bought her dress. We went and I began trying on dress after dress. I found a few that I liked and one that my mom and MOH had really liked on and so it got me all excited and I said "this is the one". Well fast forward to last week and I was having one of those days. I kept looking at all of the girls in their pictures of thier dresses and realized that I HATED that dress. It wasn't anything that I had ever pictured and wasn't anything like me. So although I was kind of disappointed I knew that it would be fun because now I could go try on more. So on Friday I went with my mom and grandma(who's in town from Florida) to the same dress shop. This time I came prepared. I had called ahead and set up the appointment myself and then emailed them a list of dresses that I wanted to try on, which did include the first dress. I was so excited when she handed me the first dress to try on because I had loved this dress in the picture from the designers website and was so excited that I actually was going to try it on. I should've just stopped trying on dresses there. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one for me. It was everything I had wanted and I felt so beautiful. I didn't want to take it off. I even wanted to take the sample dress home and it didn't even fit me right! I can't wait to wear that dress on my wedding day! I know that it is the right one for me!!!
