Flip-flop wearing bride and bridesmaids
I'm barely shorter than my FH, only about an inch or so. I don't want to be taller than him when I'm standing next to him. So I have 2 options; ballet flats or flip flops. I found these really adorable flip flops that I would not mind wearing on my wedding day. Plus, my feet are mostly going to be hidden my my dress anyways. I would want these to be white flip flops with aqua and iridescent clear crystals instead of the pink and brown. It may not be the most proper thing in the world but at least my feet would be comfy and plus these are an easy DIY! Although I'm still not totally sure on this. Does anyone know where I can find nice wedding ballet flats? I've tried looking but haven't had much luck. Oh and another thought I had. I'd make the flip flops with those white "Just Married" flip flops that you see all over the place.

Oh, I definitely say go with the flip-flops!  Be comfy!!  These days, who cares about proper?  I feel like no matter what the idea is, if you like it and it won't offend your guests, you're good to go.  Let's be honest, flip-flops are not going to offend anyone and I bet you'll love wearing them all day.  Like you said, no one will see them for the most part.

The best place to buy ballet flats is at an actual dance store. Wedding shops charge way too much for them really!

Thanks for the input so far...and heads up to irishpocahontas, flip flops are not good for dancing in I know from experience...lol...they kinda tend to get in the way and make your feet tired due to curling your toes trying to keep them on...lol
