This is futuremrsspaeth's Black Wedding!

So my cousin is an AMAZING artist and he painted his sister's shoes for her wedding...I asked him to paint mine. He just finished them and sent me pictures and they're AWESOME & PERFECT!!! I can't wait to pick them up from him and wear them!!! Holy cow...I didn't know how they would turn out cause I just gave him my colors and told him he could do whatever he wanted to them and I couldn't be happier!!! OMG they're so great!!! I wanted to do a happy dance and I actually giggled when I saw them! Hahaha! I'm such a nerd! Yay for my SPECTACULAR shoes!!! :-p :-D

UPDATE:
I picked up my shoes and they look 10 thousand times better in person than in picture! Plus I tried them on with my dress and they look even better!!! All the ladies at the dress shop LOVED my shoes too! They didn't even recognize they were the ones I bought there! I'm SO HAPPY with my shoes and can't believe how perfect they turned out!!!

OMG...only 16 days until I'm Mrs. Jessica Spaeth!!! I can't wait!!! My to do list has dwindled down SO much, which is nice, but now I'm fixing to move and trying to prepare for the baby and getting ready to go see my brother graduate in GA! So much to do, but so so much done! I'm so ready for the wedding day!!! I hope FH smiles TONS when he sees me all done up!!! I'm so nervous too...is anyone else? What if I have to use the bathroom right in the middle of the ceremony? Holy cow...I can't wait to be his wife!!!

Got the wedding cake and grooms cake ordered!!! Yay! I LOVE the wedding cake and the grooms cake!!! The grooms cake is Zelda themed...it's going to be in the shape of the Tri-Force and have Zelda & Link's faces in the center! Gonna be SO cute!!! Can't wait to see them!!!

So for our honeymoon, we've booked a little bed & breakfast in Guthrie. That way we can relax, then see some fun sights...mainly relax though. Haha! We get to stay 2 nights, then have to get home, because FH starts classes for his master's degree the day after. We're going to save up money and after the baby is born and older, we're planning to leave it with family and go on a longer, nicer honeymoon. :-)

OMG...between Saturday & yesterday I've nearly checked off the all things to buy list! Got all my bridesmaids gifts bought...just have to make them, got the ring bearer's gift & flower girl's gift...it's so cute cause it is very similar to the "big girl's" gifts, got the unity candle & stand, got my hair accessories, got my jewelry for my dress and my shoes, got the garter, material for the sashes for the girl's dresses, actually confirmed my cousin flying in from Cali to be my flower girl (YAY!), got the wedding book, the DIY centerpieces for the reception tables, etc... I'm SO excited! It's actually coming together! Holy cow...only 40 days away too!!! I've still got tons to do, but it's actually coming together! My poor room at my Mom's house has exploded with wedding stuff! My apartment has also been affected by the wedding explosion. :-p I can't believe all the stuff everywhere! Plus my bday is on Sunday, so my bday gift is in my apartment living room and FH is just leaving it there to torment me...then he had me add to his to do list for the wedding...buy bride's gift! LOL!!! He's afraid he's going to forget! I laughed SO hard, because I really don't care what or even if he gets me a gift! I'm just excited about becoming his wife and the honeymoon! :-p So today I'm getting FH to help tie little ribbon bows on the bubbles (he can actually tie better bows than me haha!) and we're working on invitations! Planning a wedding in a month and a half is not impossible, it's just insane! He's helping with SO much though, and all of my girls are already offering their help with anything they can. I think their gifts are actually gonna take the longest to make, just cause when it comes to that, I'm kind of a perfectionist. :-p Today we're crossing off renting the reception place and many other things! Yay for narrowing down the to do list!!! Ahhh...mini sigh of relief. :-p :-D

While I was dress shopping, I also did some bridesmaids/maid of honor dress shopping. The dresses are going to be black with a crimson red sash across the waist. The shoes are going to be black as well. The only thing I asked is that they don't wear flip flops or flats...just a small heel at least. I can't wait to put it all together! All my girls seem SO excited! Can't wait to see them all in their dresses!!!

We set out for a long day of shopping and only ended up going to 1 store and spent like 2 and a half hours there. We had SO much fun! I LOVE my dress!!! I swear I wore it for like 30 min. straight just because I love it SO much and it's SO comfortable and pretty!!! I also got my sister's, the maid of honor, dress too! I've picked out the other bridesmaids dresses too, so now I have 3 or 4 girls that have to go get sized. I'm SO excited!!! My mom, cousin, sis, and future mom-in-law all got a little emotional and I saw some tears, but I nearly started crying too. I can't wait for Carl to see me in my dress!!!

So I've found where I want the reception! It's VERY nice and just down the road from the church! It would be way easy to decorate and I REALLY REALLY hope we can do this! As soon as I saw it, I started making plans of what I'd like in there and it seems nearly perfect!!!

So yesterday was my cousin Holly's wedding. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! It also made me realize that I've really gotta get all of my stuff done! So I got home last night and all I've done since is plan plan plan! Can we say procrastination? LOL! Wow...so me and FH are working hard and fast and furious this upcoming week. I need prayers! :-p

So I just got out of the hospital yesterday...had a 1 night/2 day stay. Turns out I had stomach virus and I was extremely dehydrated! I ended up getting stuck over 10 times with needles/ drawing blood/ iv/ shots! So not a comfortable thing! Well, a few hours after they drew blood the first time, the doctor came in and told me and FH that we're pregnant! WOW!!! So......I'm due in Jan., which is when the wedding was planned originally, and that totally won't work. We're moving the wedding up to the very first of August! Now I have to do all my planning and DIY stuff in just 2 months, all while I work, pack for moving at the begining of August, and deal with pregnancy sickness! Oh I'm SO stressed, but FH is way way way ecstatic! Other than when he proposed, I've never seen him smile so much and be so...well...giggly! Of course I won't tell him that! Hahaha! Everyone else is totally excited too. Wish me luck, because this is going to be an insane 2 months!
