Wedding Planning
Where to start??

Hi.! My name is Ana V. Bracho and i got engaged about two weeks ago. I got so happy and excited and the first thing I did was go out and BUY my dress. Yep, I already bought the dress on my very fisrt day of trying them on. After that.... well its only been two weeks haha. The problem is that I only have 3 months till my wedding date. 94 days...:/

My FH doesnt want me to hire a wedding planner so I have no idea of what I need to do. I would really appreciate your comments, opinions, ideas, ANYTHING. Im so stressed and dont even know how to start planning the wedding.

What I do know is this:
-Damask & Light pink are my colors
-Light pink flowers, but dont know what flowers I want
-Light pink bridesmaid dresses
-A LOT of candles EVERYWHERE
-I would love to only have candles for centerpieces instead of a bunch of flowers everywhere.
but thats about it for now.... :/

Wow ok yes short planning time. I think I would have liked that. your wedding is one day before mine.

First thing choose a venue for ceremony and reception
Write your guest so you know how many people
Book photographer
If your venue doesn't have a caterer book a caterer
Book a celebrant / priest
You will also need to create your invites soon

if i could suggest anything to you, it would be...go buy some wedding magazines and tear out the pages you like. even if its not your colors, just ideas you like. it will get your brain going. i made an inspiration board for my florist ...of my dress, the bridesmaids dresses, flowers i like, patterns, etc...it gives people an idea of what kind of wedding you are going for and make it alot easier for them to work with you. of course you need to book everything too :)

also start looking at invitation designs. think about your favors...are you have a themed wedding? is it romantic, laid back, casual, vintage? what kind of feel are you going for?

First off welcome to Wbc and congrats and second of all wow 94 days but it can be done heres a site i found that has a Wedding Planning To Do List it give you somewhat of a guideline to what your next steps are  now remeber to have fun and not get to stressed out you want to be able to enjoy it all, also make sure if you want candles to ask whatever venues you look at if they allow open flame cause that can ruin your vision of what you want your reception to look like.anywho
