Card Cage

I am planning to do the birdcage idea for my gift cards. Luckily, my sister already has a beautiful one at her house that she is going to let us use. I just have to make the sign out of cardstock and add the ribbon! The second photo is from Pink Design Events.

I to am doing a bird cage-- because our slides and bottom have large openings, we are wrapping tulle around the cage to catch any loose items-- We don't want the $$ to fall out:)

We have a birdcage too. It's in one of my older posts if you want to see it. It's brand new but has a vintage look to it.  It's made of iron painted ivory and distressed. I love it. Anyway the slots on the cage aren't long enough for cards to fit through so we're going to have to keep the cage door open which is on the front. I don't want to but we have to. I'll be making a card label for ours too.

What does your cage look like?

our birdcage looks very much like the 2nd photo with the brown and pink ribbon except its a little more rounded.  i will take some pics this weekend and post.  i will have to look at it again to see how we will fit the cards in again, i can't remember :).  i like your tulle idea mrscrosby.  if our openings are too big, i might have to do that too.  your cage is absolutely beautiful leanne!!!  i love that look.
