I just realized this is a spin-off of futuremrsniemann's recent post. I love the song she posted, Kenny G-A Wedding Song. I like non-traditional wedding songs and I LOVE jazz.

For my bridal party's entrance I'm thinking about using Duke Ellington's In a Sentimental Mood. For my entrance, I wanted to use Johnny Gill's Take My Hand but FH absolutely hates this song lol so we're going to look for something else.

My wedding party will walk in to PRACTICAL MAGIC and I will be walking down the aisle to STORYBOOK LOVE.....

My bridal party is walking in to "here I stand" by Usher and I'm walking in too "when I first saw you" by Jaime Foxx on the Dream girls soundtrack...

We haven't decided on something for the wedding party to walk to yet. We're thinking of "You're Guardian Angel" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I am walking to "With Me" by Sum 41. We are having a more rock n roll/punk wedding though. =)

Apparently, I am a lot more traditional. We are doing the standard Wedding March and prob Pachebel's Cannon in D for the bridal party.

Pre-ceremony, we had songs like Moondance and Can You Feel the Love Tonight? - I wanted songs people would recognize.

Bridal entrance: "All I Ever Wanted" by Jim Brickman
Recessional: "100 Years" by Five for Fighting

i haven't picked out a song--if any since it will be outside...but I was toggling with the idea of lady in red since my dress is red. hahaha

I am still debating if I'll be walking to "At Last", Etta James version. FH isn't too fond of that song either. Sooooo... we'll see.

I'm walking down to Badly Drawn Boy's "I Love NYE." Actually, the wedding party is walking down to that too. There's a brief musical break in the song, and when it starts up again, that will be my cue to start walking! I love the soundtrack-esque vibe of this song.
