Wedding Cake

Cupcakes!

Looks like it is for sure going to be a beach wedding. We will be able to save some money by having cupcakes. We like the idea of having a small cake on top so we can still use our cake topper. I plan on making the cupcake stand myself. I'm not sure how we're going to do the cupcakes yet, we might oder them or I might make them and just put a swirl of icing on top using a large cake decorating tip. I'm also going to buy some shell and starfish shaped candy molds to make the decorations for the top of the cupcakes. I haven't figured out yet what to make the decorations out of. I'll figure it out. I also like the idea of crushing up graham crackers to look like sand around the cupcakes. Maybe even laying a piece of fishing net under the cupcakes? We'll see how everything developes. I'm going to have lots of DIY projects coming up! Brandon and I are also thinking about adding some blue into the wedding to tie everything together. We would take out the damask and the black. I may be selling some stuff pretty soon. I'll let you ladies know what I have!
