This is a painfull process

If any of you have been following my blog you know a little about all my dress drama. Here's the quick run down...

I purchased a dress right after I got engaged without even thinking about it. I realized a little too late that I didn't even like the dress, it's not at all what I wanted. I decided to keep looking.

I find dress number two and it's way out of my price range, so I decide to buy it on ebay, that didn't go well. I don't discourage anyone from buying a dress on ebay because it does work out for some people. I got my dress and everything about it was wrong except the shape. I was going to have it fixed, but have since decided that I'm not sure it's even worth it.

I started looking around online and found the dress I have pictured. It's the J. Crew Celeste, but guess what? It's discontinued. I've decided to try to make it myself, it can't be that hard. I've got a sewing machine and I do know how to sew a little, but my mom is a great seamstress and her best friend does stuff like this for a living. I'm going to try to find some fabric like that, but so far no luck. Anyone have any idea where to get the polka dot fabric from?

Any opinions or advice?
