Ask a Question
Do you wear "natural" makeup, or "heavy/smoky" at your wedding?
Getting some ideas together for my makeup. I just don't know what you are "supposed" to do for your wedding. I suppose I can do whatever I want really. But what do you think usually looks better for a bride? Do the rules change for an evening wedding?

Veil
I'm just looking for advice
This is the first birdcage veil I've seen that I really liked! The second picture is the other veil I've been wanting. I'm thinking if I wear my hair up I'll wear a veil like #2, and if I wear my hair down I'll go with something like #1. If I go with a veil like #2, how long should it be? I'm pretty short, so I don't think I want one that will drag the floor.

Wedding Hair Style
Can't decide what I like best
I don't know how I want to wear my hair for the wedding. I know I will have extensions because my hair is just not long enough (and I don't think it will get long enough) and it's far too thin to do any of these styles. I'm thinking I like the half up with waves style, but I'm just not sure. I thought I wanted to wear a veil under my hair, but I won't be able to with any of my hair down (at lease I don't think I will). What do you girls think for someone with very thin blond hair?

Shopping
Found some great stuff this weekend!
I'm going to get some pictures on here after work today. I went to Tuesday Morning this weekend and got some cards to use for invitations and a guest book. I also got 12 LED lights to put under some of the tables for $5 for a 6 pack. I found a damask notebook to use for the guest book for only $4.99! I'm just going to decorate it some I think. Tuesday Morning has some great deals, but you have to dig through all the mess to find anything. Off to Hobby Lobby tonight. I'll let you ladies know what I find.

Wedding Dress
I think I'm going to keep looking around
Thanks ladies for your advice! I think I'm going to go out and try some different styles on and see which ones look best on me. I really love the allover lace trumpet or sheath, but we'll see how that looks on my body. If I find something I like better, I'm going to sell my dress. I will bring a friend shopping with me to take pictures, that way I can get your advice. I'll post them as soon as I get some.

Wedding Dress
HELP! I'm falling for a different style. =\
The first picture is very similar to what I already have, without the ribbon. The other three are styles I'm falling in love with. I think I only bought my dress when I did because I felt a sense of urgency. Now I'm thinking I should have looked around more. I really like the vintage look. I love the allover lace and the trumpet silhouette. I have a small frame, I'm very petite. I'm only 5'1" and I weigh 120 lbs. I wear a size 5 in street clothes (but will be a 3 for the wedding). I do have a more hourglass shape, I think that's why I like the trumpet and mermaid dresses. I think the ballgown almost makes my hips look too big. I don't know what to do. Should I start looking for another dress? I just don't think I LOVE the one I have. I'm starting to feel sick to my stomach when I think about it. I do think the dress I have is pretty, but I don't know that it's "me." I sort of feel stuck with the dress I already have because it's paid for.

Bridesmaids
I can't make up my mind
So, I thought I wanted full length dresses, but the more I look for dresses, the more I like the shorter tea-length. I know that my bridesmaids prefer the longer dresses, but I am just not finding many that I like. Here are some pictures of what I've found so far that I do like. I was wanting a black dress with some light pink detail. What do you ladies think?

Honeymoon
Found where we're going! YAY!
Sandals in Antigua! It's all inclusive, but it includes more than a lot of other resorts. It includes, scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing, sailboats, snorkeling, all your food and drinks. I was so happy with the activities that they offer! They were voted the World's Most Romantic Resort. I'm so excited! I can't wait to go. It has been so long since we've been to the beach, we normally go skiing in Colorado every year. Antigua is BEAUTIFUL!! I highly recommend checking them out. Prices aren't bad either.
