Black Wedding Decoration Tulle Pom Poms

Wedding Decoration
Tulle Pom Poms

I was looking on the internet for outdoor wedding decorations and
i came across this. Its so Cute and Simple. I think it might be
easier to make these, than it is to make the tisse paper
pomanders.

Things you need:
Tulle (your choice of color) (one 25 yard spool will make
about 10 poofs)
Thin Wire or Thin String
Rhinestone Stickers (10-12 per poof)
A Scrap Piece of Cardboard
Fishing Line or Ribbon (of your choice)
Scissors
Wire Cutters

Things to do:
1. Take your tulle and cut 2-1/2? yards pieces to make one
poof.

2. Cut out a 4? x 6? piece of cardboard and wrap your length
of tulle width wise until you reach the end of your tulle piece.
Then carefully pull your tulle off of the cardboard.

3. Once your tulle is off of the cardboard, take a small piece
of wire or string and tie around the center of the tulle bundle
to create a bow like shape. Take your scissors and carefully
cut each tulle bow end.

4. To make your tulle into a poof, start pulling the layers towards
the center of the tulle bow. Fluff and shape as desired. So that
you create a perfectly round poof you may need to trim any
pieces that may be too long.

5. Once you have created your little poof, stick on your
rhinestones randomly. You may need to give them a
good squeeze to be sure that they stay on or even add a small
dab of glue before placing them on.

6. Repeat this process until you have created the amount of
poofs you need.

To hang individual poofs:
To hang your poofs individually, slip a length of fishing wire
(this is used so that you don’t see the string as much)
through the center of the poof (the wire that we tied around
the center of the tulle in step 3) and then hang. You can also
try ribbon to hang your poofs if you so desire.

To make a garland:
To create a garland, just slip the fishing wire (or again you
may want to try string ribbon) through like you do for the
individual poofs but keep string the poofs a long the line.
(With two spools of tulle, you can create a garland about
4-1/2 feet long.)
