I made these the other day, I've just been realllyyy lazy about posting them. lol :) Anyways.. here they are. I've only done 2 so far. I don't want to do to many before I see the size of the arch and everything, so I can get the length of the garland right. Im pretty excited about them. Once I got the routine down, it didn't take that long.

Oo oo! I was thinking about doing this very thing, but acutally behind our bridal party table at the reception (because we are sitting in front of windows, it's hard to put big drapey curtains :-/
How did you do them? Cheap flowers and fishing string or...?
LOVE it! I might have to try this out for our wedding arch. I was just going to do tulle wrapped around the arch, but this way I could have something else :)
Hannikay: Yes, cheap hydrangeas from walmart, (One bunch of flowers gets you a long way) Fishing string, and some clear tiny beads to keep the flowers from falling on each other. I tied knots on each bead and then put the flower on :)
I started on this last night, wowsers, how tedious! But I love the look....where are you storing your finished garlands so that they don't get all tangled up?
Heather: Yeah its very tedious! :) I can't wait to see yours! Right now I just have them taped on my door. I wanted to let them hang there just to see if I need to make them a different way. & so far they are pretty good. As for storing them? umm? lol i'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. Thats why I've only done 2 strings total. Im going to wait until my sisters husband builds the arch so I can get measurements. But for my petals, Im going to put them in a ziploc bag until its time to make them!
they look great! This inspired me, I have an empty space behind the bridal table where the Tent is open and this would look great draped behind us.. :)
Wow this looks great! For a quicker idea u could buy those beaded door hangings and Bolt them to the back where it's not seen... U would just have to make ur arch to size! Think I will give it a go for my wedding next year thanks for the great idea!
You have a great start on your garland... keep going girl!
