I wanted to show you girls my "practice" I DO letters and things that i've found! =]
Pic 1: Starburst in red colors. Just in case anyone was looking for more pink/red candy!! =] Found them at target.
Pic 2: Showing you the colors. -- Pink, Red, Maroon-ish color! lol
Pic 3: My damask notebook that i keep my wedding planning in. I had to get it since i already have the folder!
Pic 4: Damask scrapbook paper. They were 99 cents (each) at michaels. I went in there yesterday and they are 30% off. If i can't find any damask ribbon i guess im going to try and use this for my centerpieces.
Pic 5: My practice I DO letters. lol.. I just wanted to see if that would work with that damask paper. I know another WBC bride tried wall paper and i think she paid 30$ for it. Doing this just came to mind when i saw those sheets. I painted them Fuchsia and just cut out the letters. idk what else i could add to them.
I know i still have a while to get married, so i don't know what im going to to with those letters. I guess throw them away.. =/.. lol
gratefulbride: Actually the paper is just sitting there. I haven't stuck them on yet, But i've been wondering the same thing. I wonder if glue would work? lol..
LOL! Futuremrswilson, you got me on that one. I truly thought it was already set! I haven't done this yet (wanting to do something similar for door letters), but hopefully another experienced bride will chime in & give us both the 411 :) Everything really looks sooo good!
i can pick up some damask ribbon for you. Just let me know what style you are looking for. I think I have some on my page that I have picked up for other brides here on WBC
I LOVE your letters! sooo cute. what kind of paper is that? wrapping paper? if you are wanting to keep them, put the paper on with spray adhesive. If you dont want them I will buy them from you.
thanks for the comments! =].. Keh2010: Its scrapbook paper from michaels. I'm prolly going to put them in my closet till then... But they are very easy to do. You could use wrapping paper if you can find it.. You might have better luck then i did looking for some.
Loveee the I Do letters!! I made some similar for my dorm room a few years ago... but they def. didn't look that good! Dont throw them away.... send them to me!! lol. Couldn't you just use a hot glue gun to put the paper on?
I love these letters. I have seen several girls do this. I am interested in having them in my wedding reception decor as well. My question is: how or where are you going to put them? Will they be on a table or hanging somewhere?? Just wondering because I am not sure how to encorporate them at my venue.
futuremrsrobb: Most girls on here put them on their cake table. Thats where im going to put mine. You could have them hanging somewhere, But i'm going to buy a base made out of wood and paint it and hot glue the letters to that. That way they can be sitting up on the cake table instead of laying down. =]
