So i am in my friends wedding which is in 3 weeks.
We ordered our Alfred Angelo dresses back in May. For the past month we have been given the run around. The dresses were supposed to be in a month ago and they finally just came in last Friday.
Apparently Alfred Angelo was having shipping issues and couldnt get dresses out that were for October weddings and our bridal store had to physically go downtown and pick up the dresses themselves so we could have them on time.
I ordered a size 6 dress, I went to pick it up today and I checked the outer tag to make sure it was a size 6 before i left the store.
I got home to try it on and it was HUGE. no way it was a size 6. So i checked the tag on the inside of the dress and it said size 18.. WTF!!??
So i called the store and told them my issues, and they said bring the dress back right away.
Somehow Alfred Angelo put a size 6 outer tag on a size 18 dress and shipped it as my dress. The store called the company and they told them they didnt have a dress to ship out in time for the wedding, which is 3 weeks away.
Thankfully the bridal store had the Sample dress in the colour we needed and offered me the sample dress which is still a size 10. They are going to alter it and send Alfred Angelo the bill for the alterations because this is my only option.
I am extremely peeved off at this. 3 weeks till the wedding and I am going to have to wear a sample dress that god knows how many girls have tried on.
This mistake is ridiculous on Alfred Angelos part. If they didnt have such issues with shipping and we got the dresses when we were supposed to this may not have been such an issue, but when its 3 weeks till the wedding and I almost didnt have a dress to wear. Horrible!
Let me tell you, Alfred Angelo will NOT be getting my business for my wedding next year.
