DIY ceiling drapings, cake backdrop, decor

WE FOUND THAT THE BEST CEILING DRAPING MATERIAL WAS THE PLASTIC ROLL TABLE COVERING BELIEVE OR NOT!!! WE PUT WHITE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM AND HUNG 4 LONG PIECES OF FABRIC FROM THE CENTER OF THE RECEPTION VENUE TO THE OUTTER 4 POLES... VERY EASY TO DO WITH 3-4 MEN WORKING ON IT!!! WILL TRY TO POST MORE PICS!!!

MY AUNT (THAT DID THE CENTERPIECES) HAS AN ART DEGREE AND IS AWESOME AT DECORATING.. SHE WAS THE "CAPTAIN" AS FOR AS THE DECOR, DRAPING AND BACKDROPS GO... I ORDERED 8 ROLLS OF 100 YDS OF TULLE AND WE USED IT ALL BETWEEN MY CAKE BACKDROP, GROOM CAKE BACKDROP, DRAPINGS, ARCH FOR CEREMONY ETC.

**I THINK WE BOUGHT 3-4 ROLLS OF THE PLASTIC TABLE COVERS.. NOT SURE IF WE USED IT ALL OR NOT, SORRY...

how'd it turn out? i've never thought of plastic table covers as drapes.. did your guest notice?

Came out great!!!  My aunt has an art degree and has done several weddings.. She said its common to use the table covers as draping... You can see some pics in this posting!!
