The day is here
What a beautiful day it was
Part two:
We were set to arrive at the church at 4pm for make-up and last minute details, the limo got some form of miscommunication and they were not at the hotel to pick us up.. No big deal we had family come into town and they had a 17 passenger van and he came to our rescue. Now throughout the planning process I had a team of 4 Wonderful women to coordinate my wedding, even though they kept saying we were going to start on time I did not believe them, "come on now what wedding starts on time." That was my argument the entire year of planning. Let me tell you once we got to the church everything zoomed by because our coordinators was making sure everyone was where they were suppose to be. I had my personal glam squad hooking our girls up, it was so funny(see picture below) I kept telling my hairdresser she wasn't going to be allowed in my photos if she didn't get a glam squad shirt she REALLY did it and she had my make-up artist get one, smh, sometimes people take you serious when your just kidding but it came out fantastic and now they are calling themselves the wedding glam squad ( I want my cut, lol). Highlights: My wedding party hadn't seen me all finished up so the first photo on the right is taken as my party is coming around the corner, this is a tear jerker guys prepare yourself..the second picture is of my nieces the one on the right comes around the corner and she immediately stops, clutches her heart and says "Oh My God auntie you are soooooooooooooooo Beautiful." and she wouldn't move she just kept staring, I had to kneel down and I whispered to her "not as beautiful as you." Ladies it took Everything not to bust out crying. I love those girls. The wedding starts and the doors open and there at the altar is my boo. lol. As I start to walk I hear a faint stop, my husband walks forward a little and he says "My love, yesterday you said I would make a good husband I am here to tell you I am going to be a Great husband!" and then the music begins and I proceeded to walk down the aisle. NOW WASN'T THAT SMOOTH. LOL The rest of the ceremony was..a ceremony, lol. Our reception was a typical reception nothing major happened there except the band we had was fantastic, ladies if you get a photo wall or photo booth be prepared to have no on eon your dance floor and when we went to cut the cake everyone was in line for photos. If there are any Rochester, NY brides send me a note and I will give you any reviews you'd like. |

My Wedding
Was the Bomb dot Com
The morning of was very hectic, I ended up staying with my husband the night before (Do Not do this). So off to the hair dresser I go, because the night before we partied I had some last minute writing to do for some of my girls. As I am going through the list I realize
"Self" "Huh" "Where are your vows?" Holy Shit!! So I begin to write my vows...Ladies I started crying like a baby it was so funny and joyous at the same time. One of the hairdressers said that is when you know you're writing the right stuff. I loved that my wedding was so late in the day because I had a lot of time to take a breather, another tad bit of advice for you ladies, try to Not talk to your fh the day of me and my man talked throughout the day like it wasn't our wedding day. Serious Advice ahead: One of the things I would like to stress to you all and please pass along and if you take anything from little 'ol me let it be this. Have everything paid off at least the week before your wedding. The only thing you want to worry about is tips and have those in envelopes at least 3 days before the wedding. Me and the hubby were still paying people off the day of and that is one of the reasons we had to keep calling each other. We ended up paying for everything ourselves so I understand the strain it may cause but it would make life less crazy making. After the hairdressers I had absolutely nothing left to do and I had about 2 hours left before we needed to go to the church so I went and checked into the hotel, finished writing, showered and layed down a bit. Rest of the day will be added later it's late. LOL |

My Wedding
Night Before
Hello ladies I am going to go into my day before the wedding..
I had tons of things left to do but my girls wanted to take me out for one last bang and seeing that the hubby was going out I said why not. So I get to my friends house and she is pouring drinks. A little background our clubs close at 2AM so when it started getting close to 1am and then 1:15am I'm like guys I need to go home, well long story short the partay was at her house. lol I hear a noise and I think oh crap were getting robbed so I run, literally run towards the back of the house. There was a STRIPPER and we had a ball. I got home around 3am I tried to finish up a few thing sbut I ended up passing out and the hubby came home so we broke tradition and spent thenight together. Ladies: If you can do not stay with your fh the night before it took away some of the anticipation because we had just seen each other. I went to the hair dresser and realiized Holy Shit I need to write my vows... Continued with some pro-pic teasers |

I's Married Now
My wedding week
SO ladies of WBC this is going to be a very long post, maybe I should separate into two, anywho here goes...
My post a day went right down the drain because ladies your time and attention will be pulled EVERYWHERE! I foolishly thought I would be able to work up until the day of my wedding and that put me behind so far it wasn't even funny so my first advice, TAKE TIME OFF! My journey of wedding-dom started out just fine the weekend prior to our wedding was spent cleaning and cleaning and cleaning because we were having guest over starting Tuesday 8/17 a bus of 20 at that and guess where their first stop was going to be our home. Picture this. 3 bedroom ranch, one bathroom, 10 guests plus our 4. BUT it was fine. That Tuesday I went to work (never should have done that), came home to clean and thats when I realized we had no food so around 7pm I went to the grocery store, got a call that the folks were in our driveway so I had to rush home and try to cook something for them because I am such a gracious host, LOL. 11pm I am exhausted and I have work the next day... Wednesday 8/18....Drama begins... The cleaners call me while I am at work and they tell me "Ms.Williams, your dress is going to be so perfect and clean and everything will be just fine, the only thing is that your dress will not be here until Wednesday 8/25." (My wedding was 8/20). WTF Mr. Cleaner guy! so after crying my eyes out and calling everyone and their mama we get some kind of solution, my dress is 45minutes past Niagara Falls, CANADA and I can either have it shipped overnight and it may be her by Friday or I can go get it..Guess what...ROAD TRIP... I am just going to say if I had a gun I would have killed the cleaners, we drove 2 hours there, had to wait an 1.5 hours because the guy in Rochester was saying I hadn't paid (which I hadn't I refused to), so after the cops being called and some crcodile tears in Canada my dress was released and the rest of my wedding seemed to fall into place. Next post will be about my actual wedding day and some vendor reviews, just in case there are folks in the area who are still looking. P.S. I thought I wouldn't feel different, yet I do and it is such a wonderful feeling of joy. |

I love my band
My engagement ring was customed made so finding a band has been a nightmare (I did not want to pay to customize a band) sooo, I had to bite the bullet and have the bands, yes bands, custome made. I have one for each side. so much for saving money. I love it and I can't wait 16 days. YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Hello ladies, I absolutely love all the new WBC ladies on here, I think it is great! I was looking at essence.com and came across a couple's wedding and they had this on the ceiling. I am going to try and re-create the look over my dance floor. What do you think? Where should I start? I think I may need to take a trip to Hobby Lobby right now. lol
**********UPDATE*********************** We can't hang anything from our reception halls' ceiling so this look is a no go. oh well. |
