Hello all,

So my mind seems to race in fifty DIFFERENT directions, I know my friends have to be tired of me talking about my ideas..so my question is what exactly should I be doing right now? Should I start my DIY projects? Have meet and greets? Engagement photos, engagement party? Curious to know what you were doing a year in advance.

We have the same wedding date. Thats actually my FH birthday. I have been looking for a venue, my dress, bm dresses, food menu, decorations ideas. You can start full blast because most places allows you to book 1 year in advance.

I was the same way! What I did was go on the internet and start looking for like bridesmaid dresses for a couple hours and that turned into looking at wedding dress and then mother of the bride dresses... Everything just starting coming together once I started looking. Once I knew I was absolutely sure on something I started my projects. If you plan on having an engagement party you may want to start looking for a photographer for engagement photos and start planning your engagement party first. Good luck!

One thing that I found helped me was in almost every wedding mag (or even on theknot.com) they have a time line of what you should get donw when. 1 year away, 8 months, 6 months, 1 month, etc. I suggest looking at the list, see what you have done already and then what you can do now thats maybe time consuming that you won't have too much time to do later on.
