My Aisle

Hot glued all the ostrich feather together myself and had them tied to the chairs with purple sashes. I loved it.

I'm Married!

Ceremony shots

Finally did it. All went fantastic, gorgeous hot weather, outfits looked better than I imagined. It all came together perfectly. Not having a honeymoon just yet due to three kids under 4yo but will get there.
I had so much fun, probably drank a bit to much champs but I kept it together and all went to plan. Couldn't ask for a better day.

OMG!

Kids with Scissors!

My little 2yo daughter decided to play hairdresser yesterday and she has cut hers and her baby brothers hair. Cant really notice the baby's but hers is unbelievable. She has bald patches on the top and around the side. Took her to the hairdresser but not much they could do. So now my little flower girl looks like Billy Ray Cyrus from his Achey breaky heart film clip. God give me strength!

Earthquake!

My 1st Earthquake

We (Melbourne) had a 4.7 earthquake last night. At first I thought it was a big wind storm coming then the rumble turned into a shake for about 5 sec. The whole house shook and the couch I was sitting on. Freaky! We dont usually get them here.

Bush fires killing hundreds in 47degrees temp just around the corner a couple of weeks ago, wind storm earlier this week. Had the heater on in the middle of summer yesterday and now the earthquake. Whats going on?

Only 14 days to my wedding, better be a good day :)

Ok put two together roughly, but they dont look to bad. Will fill the vases with dark purple water crystals and have waterproof mini lights in them. I will do them better for the day of course.

Aisle Feathers

I have done them. FINALLY YAY! I think they look great. Better than I thought anyway. Two Ostrich feathers and a purple feather tree. my 1st go at a glue gun, I dont think I did to badly. (My nails may say otherwise.)
What do you think ladies. They will be tied to the aisle chairs with a satin sash ribbon. Purple of course.
The photo looks more purple than they are. They are a deep purple.

Birdcage veil

When do you take it off?
I am having a very plain dress - Marilyn Monroe style and the birdcage veil will be a standout feature of my outfit. Do you normally take them off? And when?
Mine is more of an eye veil that I am wearing with a peony rose fascinator, so it will be covering my eyes the whole time. Although I can see fine through it will people think its a bit odd to have it on all night?
