I would liked to have a little bit more special ring cushion, so when I found this idea on the internet, I decided immediately that this shell-shaped cushion will be the real one for us. I also decided that I will make it, as I am totall love doing D.I.Y.s!!! :o)

So I started to buy every little accessories for making it, and I made it during about 2 days... Yayy! :o)

Here are the steps:

1. draw two shell-shapes to a cardboard (one for the down shell, one for the up shell)
2. cut them out with scissors, and cut a little line into the middle of the shells, so you can pull the ends together and make the shells a little concave
3. cut 4 pieces from the material, which will be cover shells
4. first sew the outer sides and after the inner sides to the shell cardboards (I folded the inner material of the top shell to each other as you can see...)
5. don't forget stuffing the down shell with some cotton-wools
6. sew some kind of design on the outer side of the top shell
7. sew a little tulle ribbon around the shells
8. sew together two shells
9. sew a pearl on the middle of the down shell
10. finally sew 2 ribbons near the pearl for the rings

And that's all Folks!! :o)
