Ask a Question
To buy my dress online? How? Where?
I found a dress but It seems is online only purchase.

If at the end I decided for it should I buy it? Should it be a size more and get adjustments just in case?

Most online websites offer a size guide.  I would take your measurements and check the size guide.

I agree with scheri~~~get ur measurements and maybe still get it a couple of inches larger and then you can alter it to fit you perfectly:)

i ordered mine from house of brides.  every designer is different in sizes. I happened to see my dress and it was like 2 sizes to small, so i kind of had an idea what size i needed. So i have been getting on the treadmil like crazy to shrink down my waist line. I would say order way ahead of time so if something goes wring you will have time to go to a store and get one if something happens. I guess I should be getting my dress in June I think.

definately get correct measurments, then compare it to their size guide. Remember, it can always be altered.

Get professionally measured by a dressmaker. Look up "tailors" in your Yellow Pages, or ask a high end department store's special occasion department for a referral. Send those measurements in to your online dressmaker. If they go by a number size (like 2,4,6, etc) instead of making it to your personal measurements and for example your bust falls under one size and your hips another, order the larger size. It is much easier to alter something down than up.

EBAY I don't have the name of the site but went on under wedding dresses and they are the ones with the dresses being bid on for like 25dollars then shipping is like $150 so that is where the true cost of the dress comes in we paid like $200 for mine which in comparison with other bridal shops was ;great there were times I was leary but they stayed in touch and after about 3wks I got it order early-go to a bridal shop or tailor to be measured properly because the dress is custom made for your body-good luck let me know if you choose on which one you choose they have pages of choices

I also found my dress online on ebay and am a little skeptical about buying it but it is the only dress I have completely fell in love with. I still haven't went and tried any on but I am really soon. As for you well I say if you like the dress then order it but like the others have said order it one size bigger cause it is easier to take in than to let out. Also order way in advance so if you need something different then you have time.
