At first I wanted the flowers to be bright. I then found these pictures online and decided just to do blue and white. I love that there are flowers under water and lights. So I think I'm going to do something like this.

I also like that there is sea glass at the bottom.

Flower girl dress and flowers

So I'm not sure what color to get the flower girl dresses in. My dress is light ivory. It almost looks white in the pictures. What do you think? White or Ivory or light blue?

I'm thinking the sash should be in a light blue.

Also what color should the guys shirts be? White or Ivory? I know the ties are going to be blue.

I also really like that the flower girl is holding a little bouquet.

Candy Bar

This is something that I had to have. It looks like so much fun and who doesn't like candy.

I have already started buying things for it. I think I have 13 containers and I found clear scoops online. Just need to pick the candy.

I think I'm going to have a the saying "Love is Sweet" some place on the table.

I still need to pick the colors of the candy.

The dress

The color of the dress

The new dress

This dress looks so much better than in the picture. We are getting it in sapphire blue.

The color of the dress has changed like 3 times. At first it was going to be cornflower, then black (because it's an easy color to match things with), now sapphire.

I have loved the color blue since I was little and everyone was telling me if I didn't have blue then it wouldn't be my wedding. So that helped in picking the color.

The fabric is satin so I don't have to worry about the way it will look in pictures.

the 1st dress

The 1st bridesmaid dress

We all really liked this dress (it would of been in light blue) but I got home and looked at the pictures and the dress didn't look very good. i think it was the fabric/flash. The fabric was tissue taffeta.

Like I said we really liked these dresses, but I don't want to worry about what the pictures are going to look like.

About the wedding

Jeremy and I met 7 years ago at work and we got engaged July 5, 2008.

We are inviting 378 guests. Yeah, our wedding is going to be huge.
We are having 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsman, 4 ushers, 2 flower girls, and 1 ring barrier.

Our save the dates went out a few weeks ago, my dress is ordered, the bridesmaid dresses will be ordered this week, and all the vendors are picked. Now it is just the details. I'm having a very hard time making decisions. I keep changing my mind.
