This is gfacey72's Orange Wedding!

As you can probably guess already I'm not into fancy or frills.
This will be a plainly iced cake with satin ribbon around the centre of the top two layers. The ribbon wil be tied into a front facing bow.

These were the PERFECT save the dates. They were not that expensive and I was able to customize my flowers on the postcard to burnt orange, add my website information etc...Since my fiance is American and we expect alot of his family to travel to Canada, this was great for us to announce the wedding many months in advance.

The men will be wearing this sexy tuxedo by Fubu. Black vest, white shirt and burnt orange tascot!

The bridesmaids dresses will be exacly like black one I am wearing in my avatar except it will be burnt orange. I had the one I am wearing made two years ago and I really like the style. The accessories will be silver, so I am on the hunt for stiletto heel tie up shoes in silver.
My bridesmaids range in height from 5'8 to 5'11" so I think they will wear this dress well!

I didn't want any sequins, lace, beading, pearls, crystals etc on my wedding dress. I wanted a beatiful satin dress without any fussy detail. I found this Alfred Angelo on the internet and fell in love with the simplicity, yet elegant and traditional dress. It was love at first sight and the ONLY dress I tried on.

I love the fact that I was able to accent it with the optional burnt orange sash. I also love the row of covered buttons in the back. I plan to wear the long "bow" portion for the ceremony, however, I will remove the "bow" for the reception, leaving just the band. I knew it was the perfect dress when I tried it on, they did the measurements and I was a perfect size 8! Upon its arrival last week I tried it on and it fit like a glove! (now I can't gain or lose any weight LOL:)

This is a perfect match for my dress! I have five little girls in the wedding (ages 3 -8). The dress is cocktail/floor length and the colours coordinate perfectly with the wedding theme. They will wear ivory Mary Janes and ivory lace bobby socks.

One of the little girls will drop orange rose petals and my daughter (who is the head flower girl) will wear a tiara - just like her mommy!
