Ask a Question
More Shoes
OK,
So I've been looking at more shoes and now I've found four more that I like. I don't know which one to choose. I also have the sandal I can't locate in the post below. These four I found on zappos.com under bridal shoes. Has anyone ordered from there before, are returns easy? I've never ordered anything from the net except books from amazon.com. I'm wondering how true these shoes are to size. I wear 6.5 usually. These four sandals are either Caparros or Touch Ups; I'm wondering if anyone else has bought shoes from these companies and how true they are to size. Girls help me choose! Thanks :o) |

Ask a Question
Where can I find these sandals?
Hi ladies,
I'm wondering if any of you have come across these ivory sandals. I'm looking for them for my wedding. I've come across similar ones, but not with the same big rhinestone centre, and soft satin material. I've also got other sandal options in gold and silver that I like too, that I found on myglassslipper.com. They are lower heeled, 2 inches, so that I can stand in them for a long time without my feet hurting. I've also got flip flop options which I'll keep for when my feet do hurt, which I'm sure they will by the end of the evening. Tell me what you ladies think. But I really do like the ivory one too, even though it looks like it's 3 inches. But I don't know where to find them. Tell me what you think? I'd really like your opinions. Thanks |

DIY Wedding
Wedding Cake Card Box
This is my second DIY. You can see from my pictures below the different stages of making it. It was really fun to make and it really looks like a cake until you see the slit in the top which gives it away as a card box. I'm having a cake that's a typical polish desert, it's really yummy and is made from flaky pastry filled with light custard inside, not sweet, just very light and melts in your mouth, but it doesn't make for good wedding cake, and my mom really wished for me to have a three tiered fondant cake. So I was inspired to make one for her going by my theme of Jane Austen period, and now I have a wedding cake and a card box all in one. It's was really fun to make, a bit hard to get the fondant consistency and look, and it cost me $64. It would have cost less if I used less expensive beads and lace, but it was a present for my mom too, so I wanted to get real period lace and ribbon. This is a great project for those who aren't having a tiered wedding cake and want one, it's a lot cheaper than a real one and it's your card box too. I'm happy with how it turned out, but tell me what you think too. Thanks. Have a great day!

Wedding Decoration
Table Numbers
Just wanted to show you a few pics of Rafal. Quickies taken just now on my mac photobooth. But I wanted to show you my first wedding DIY project. Table numbers on small 5x7 canvases, with grecian pillar backs made from glue and cardboard. Lots of hot glue for this project, and things strewn around the house left over from other craft projects like beads, feather butterflies, foreign coins, earings missing their pair. Actually the pearl in the number 1 is from an old earing missing its other pair. I want to give my wedding a bit of a Jane Austen, country cottage, creamy antique feel. What do you think?

Photographer
Hi, I'm Ginger,
I'm new to the site. Just joined just now. This is fun. I have a question. I'm looking into photographers at the moment and was wondering if anyone was using someone who does nice candid shots and isn't too pricey. I know, everyone is looking for that. But many photographers I've looked into are out of my budget. I live in Toronto. |
