The Hollywood Experience- Mr. & Mrs. White
Admission Tickets, VIP Wrist Bands, Reviews and Custom Pens
HAPPY TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY,
I know I usually post a lot earlier, but I have been doing some last minute things and I just realized I didn't do my post for today at 11:02pm lol. ******Here are the surprises I told you about******* I kept this for last because this was special to me. As many of you know I have thought of every little detail for our Hollywood Theme Wedding. When guest come in via the red carpet they will be greeted by a hostess asking for their name to make sure they are on the guest list and then they will be given a VIP Wrist Band. Yes, you read correctly. I want my guest to feel like they are really VIP and this is an exclusive event that they were privileged to be at. I got them from 24hourwristbands.com and they were fairly inexpensive. Do you like the idea? I know it's a bit much, but this wedding is already a little over the top anyway. After the ceremony and cocktail hour they will get their "Admission Tickets" (aka Escort Cards) before heading into the reception. It only make sense...this is a Hollywood Movie Theme Wedding. Of course I had to contact Shanny Pooh and we worked together to come up with the design. I think my guest are going to my like "WOW" which is what I want. Being a big movie fan I always look at reviews to see if it's worth seeing. I even make reviews on movies from time to time. Then I thought about having our guest do a review on our wedding. They can really do a review or just write a message to us......then I realized that everyone might not have pens.............................................Hmmmmmm, what if I ordered some custom pens that the guest can use and also take home as favors, so that what I did. (Shanny Pooh Designs did the review cards) I order the pens from discountmugs.com. These were really inexpensive and they are good quality. I had to order 2 sets (black ink and blue ink). My soon to be husband works for a county Sheriff's Office here and they can only use blue ink pens, so that's why I have two sets. So guest will get either a blue or black ink pen. Ok, so that's the surprises I wanted to share with you. I have a few others, but I want you to be surprised when you see the pics lol. Don't be mad at me.........only 4 days to go :-) |

Starring Kayla as the Bride
It's all about the Future Mrs. White :-)
HAPPY MONDAY,
I only have 6 days to go before I get married and it has really hit me now. I am filled with excitement and I cannot wait. Today is all about ME. I have invested so much time, energy, and money on the wedding itself, but I also had to make sure that the BRIDE is on point :-) Rhinestone Panties and Shirts- I went crazy with the rhinestone iron on transfers. I purchased all of them from eBay and just transferred them over to shirts and even my wedding day panties lol. Im wearing the shirts each day while in South Florida. Im wearing the white (here comes the bride) one while Im getting ready the purple one Thursday the white (Kayla-Rena) one Friday for the wedding rehearsal :-) Wedding Day Perfume- My fiancé and I was in the mall last year just shopping when we passed by VS and he saw a big sign that was introducing their new Gorgeous perfume. It caught his eye because thats actually his affectionate nickname for me. He smelled it and loved it (I loved it too). So he purchased the set and told me he wanted me to wear it on the wedding day (that was an easy check)! Wedding Day Jewelry- I was blessed to catch an AMAZING sale at Dillards last month and I purchased the crystal necklace, earring, and pear/rhinestone bracelet for a total of $39.55. It is so beautiful and sparkles even in the dark and matches my dress perfectly. The other 2 bracelets are something old and borrowed. I cant wait for you guys to see it on me on the wedding day. Wedding Day Shoes- I really wanted the crystal Benjamin Adams shoes, but I had to rethink that decision because my wedding day weave was super expensive (LoL), and I have been super spoiled with everything else and I really felt guilty and didnt want my fiancé to spend so much more money on shoes. So I told my fiancé that I wanted some other shoes and to put the rest of the money to our honeymoon excursions. So I found these super cute shoes by Paris Hilton on heels.com (I didnt even know she had a shoe line). I also purchased my rhinestone sandals for the reception from DSW online. It worked out good and we saved money. I love both shoes and I still get my sparkle. *I need to put my I Do letters on the bottom of the shoes* Wedding Day Make-Up- I did my make-up trial last week Monday and I love it. My make-up artist also does my eyebrows and lashes on the regular as well as my moms. I love her work and she has become a friend of the family, so my mom is flying her down for the wedding to make sure my make-up is flawless my mom is the BEST! Mrs. White Parasol- I purchased the parasol from Hobby Lobby and my moms friend painted Mrs. White on it. I plan to use it for Bridal Pictures. PJs- My PJ set that I will wear for my last night as a single woman ;-) *SURPRISE ALERT* It was too late to order the reception dress I wanted and I didn't like any other dresses, but wanted something to really dance in. So I was thinking and thinking and I remembered Khole Kardashians wedding and I loved when they changed into the velour sets at the wedding reception. So I talked to my bridal party about it and they loved the idea, and we decided to do it. Im the only one wearing white, and my girls will be in purple velour sets and will have their name embroidered on the back. I cant wait to surprise everyone and my fiancé. I will definitely be able to get down and have fun in the velour set. I actually went back on eBay and had a seller do a personalized rhinestone iron on transfer with my new last name and wedding date :-) I will wear the tank with the white velour set. |

Mr. & Mrs. White Signature Drinks
What's your Rating...PG-13, R, or XXX?
HAPPY THURSDAY,
I am having an extremely good day. My job surprised me with a surprise "Wedding Celebration". One of my co-workers did a Power Point Presentation and had pictures of Andrew and myself with music, and had numerous messages from my co-workers on them. They had the room decorated in purple and white and I had a purple and white cake (it was so yummy). It was just too sweet...not to mention it's only 10 days until our wedding :-) Signature Drinks: I definitely wanted to do Signature Drinks for our wedding, but I wanted to tie them into our wedding theme. I had the unique concept of giving them movie ratings and I got some help from my mom with the description of each. Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) did the sign for me, and I love it. My mom has a friend that is a bartender who helped us out with creating the drinks. We did a drink tasting and all the drink are AMAZING...I can't handle the XXX though (my mom really created that particular drink lol). What do you think? |

Now Showing...Mr. & Mrs. White
A sneak peek preview for my WBC girls :-)
HAPPY TUESDAY,
12 days to go now....I am filled with joy and I am so happy that everything is falling into place. Everything is packed up, but I did snap a few pictures before everything was wrapped up and packed in boxes. It is very important to me to make sure our movie theme is shown through our wedding in an elegant way. I went to my favorite girl Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) and I had her create a Now Showing sign (similar to what you would see at the theaters). I want it to be the first thing our guest see when they enter the venue. My mom has a friend that works in advertising and he had this blown up for us. It is 4 feet tall by 3 feet wide...it is HUGE lol. Shanny Pooh can really do it all. *The pic was taken yesterday...I will tell you why we are dressed up "again" in a post next week...it's for a surprise lol Sweetheart Table Decoration- I wanted our sweetheart table to be very romantic and sparkle :-) I got all the bling tea-lights from Hobby Lobby. The Bride and Groom signs will be tied to the back of our chairs. My mom bought the purple glassed from Pier One and our toasting flutes are from Things Remembered. On the rectangular tea-lights there are 2 diamond rings napkin holders.....needless to say we will be sparkling at out sweetheart table. Cake Table Decoration- The cake cutting set is from Things Remembered. I did the I Do letters awhile back. All the bling tea-lights, diamond tea-lights, and diamond confetti was purchased from Hobby Lobby. I can't wait to see all the decoration on the table with the cake that I designed :-) Grandmother Memorial Picture- It was extremely important to me to have my grandmother remembered on our wedding day. I had Shanny Pooh Designs create the picture for me. I purchased the clear frame from Walmart. I will have the frame placed in the first seat in remembrance of her :-) |

16 Days until Mr. & Mrs. White Premiere
Cardbox, Signs, Programs, Napkins, and more :-)
HAPPY FRIDAY,
OMG...it's only 16 days before I am a Mrs. I'm so anxious, excited, and extremely happy. I still can't believe the day is almost finally here. I'm trying to post everything left that I've done. Oh, and I'm saving the best for last...so PLEASE stay tuned. Here are some final things that I've finished and I just wanted to show you :-) Cardbox- It is finally finished...I added some crystals and pearls to the letters and attached the feathers. I had to use E6000 glue on the letters so it wouldn't fall off and that glue is great, it is stuck on tight. I love how it came out. Shanny Pooh Desgins (mrshtobe) did the sign and I love how the design flows with everything else. Reserved Signs- this was done by Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) as well. I added some cardstock, tied some ribbon, and VOILA :-) Programs- done by Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) lol. I wanted it to have our movie theme, but still be classy. I created the wording and she basically put it all together. They are 5.5 (W) x 8.5 (H). I printed 75 sheets front and back on white cardstock...cut it right down the middle with a cutting board and I have 150 programs now...CHECK :-) *I had to erase our middle names...you know these pictures will pop up on all kind of search engines...we don't need no identity theft lol Napkins- I purchased these from theknot.com when I got the matches. These weren't really needed, but I just like them and they came out really nice. They are going to be used during our cocktail hour. Petal Bags- I wanted to have a petal toss during our recessional from the ceremony and I purchased the little organza bags from ebay and had Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) put my little poem on on a design and VIOLA again. Matches basket- On the post about the sparklers it was suggested that I tie a ribbon around the basket of matches, so that's what I did and I promised I would show (nothing major) lol Tell me what you think about everything :-) HAPPY PLANNING!!!!!!!! |

Sweet Treats Concessions
"Love is Sweet"
HAPPY WEDNESDAY,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. Today I wanted to share with you our Sweet Treat Concessions (keeping with our movie theme). I didnt want to do the candy buffet in our colors, because I wanted candy and chocolates that we actually like lol. I started collecting jars when we first started planning the wedding from Ross, Marshalls, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels. The LOVE plates were a gift, but they were purchased at weddingstar.com. All the candy and chocolate was purchased from Sams Club and Wal-Mart. It doesnt look like a lot of candy and chocolates because Im standing over the jars, but trust me these are some big jars with bulk size bags and boxes of chocolate and candy. This is just a rough draft. As you can see I dont even have a jar for the Air Heads (my DOC is going to allow me to borrow one of hers) and I have another tall skinny jar that is not being used. I also want to purchase a few more concession box candy I know the Dollar Tree has more of a variety so I will go there this weekend. What candy or chocolate is missing? Whats your favorite? Do you think I should take out the gold Hershey Kisses out of the LOVE plates (so it can have the wedding colors in it only)? Do you think the jars need ribbon and/or labels on them? Everyone can read the name of the candies on them and these should be familiar to most people. Candies and Chocolates (from Left to right): -Air Heads -Assortment of Chocolates (Twix, Snickers, M&Ms, Kit Kats, Milky Way, Nuggets, Nestle Crunch and more) -Ring Pops -Pixy Stix -Nerds -Blow Pops -Ferro Rocher (my FAVE- I got them from Publix at the after Christmas sale) -Laffy Taffy -Skittles and Starbust -Now and Laters -Haribo Gummi Bears -Dark Chocolate, milk chocolate, and caramel mix chocolate Hershey kisses in LOVE plates *The bags were purchased from Papermart.com (I thought they would be more convenient for people to carry and they can put their photo strips in them as well). *Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) did the Sweet Treats Concessions sign *The basket for the candy bags was purchased at Hobby Lobby (it was colored with the lining already in it) *The labels on the candy bags were DIY it has our monogram with Love is Sweet and I got them for FREE with VistaPrint, I just attached purple cardstock to them and put them on the bags ? If you are buying your candy and chocolate early PLEASE make sure you check expiration dates (YES, they do have them), you dont want to give your guest expired hard candy lol. 18 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!! |

Bridal Party Gifts
Here are the gifts for my girls :-)
HAPPY MONDAY,
There is only 20 days left before our wedding :-) So I finally have the gifts completed for my bridal party. I didn't want to do any generic gifts, I wanted everything to be custom/personalized for them. With the help of my mom we finally have all the gifts completed. I have another special gift for my Maid of Honor that is still working on. Here is what I got my Bridal Party: -Custom Tote Bag with their name and initial -Custom glass with vinyl initial (DIY) -Custom "Bride's Entourage" Shirts (DIY) -Custom Purse Hanger -Custom Hanger with initials and names (DIY) -Rhinestone brooch for dress or bouquet -Custom card with the help of Shanny Pooh Designs (mrshtobe) -Pocket hand sanitizer (I'm a germ-a-phobe) so I know they will laugh at this. I'm always the one with the hand sanitizer and wipes lol. Oh, and they will be getting their make-up and eye-lashes done on the day of the wedding compliments of me and my mommy :-) Do you think this enough? I feel like I should get something else as well. Here is the DIY and purchase information: Hangers: I bought them from WalMart. I sprayed painted them and let them dry for a day. I had the letters from my scrapbooking days, but I know you can still buy them from Walmart or Micheals. I got the purple bling embellishments from Michael's and the pearl and crystals were left over from my cake topper. I just got creative with it. I love how they came out and will great for pictures :-) T-Shirts I think I talked about these in another blog, but I bought the shirts from Old Navy and then rhinestone iron-on transfers from ebay...it was very simple to just iron on and VOILA "bling bridal shirts) Cards Shanny Pooh Design did them for me and I just attached it to some glitter paper that I had in the house Initial Glasses I purchased the glassed from Bed Bath and Beyond, but I've seen them at Walmart before. I purchased the vinyl letters from an Etsy Seller (SherrysStickers) and I just put them on the glass. It is kind of hard though...you have to position them just right. I was going to add a crystal on each one, but I ran out and I'm not buying anymore lol Tote Bags I got tote bags fo everyone including myself, my mom, my make-up artist and my bridal party. I ordered them from ebay seller- specialoccasionswarehouse Purse Hangers My mom has a co-worker that custom makes these and I had him do some for my bridal party :-) Hand Sanitizers Purchased from Bath and Body Works |
