I really don’t see the point on MOHs and BMs carrying bouquets. I think it’s a waste of money fake or real. I want to be the only one at my wedding with a bouquet. If they want a bouquet they can try to catch it with the rest of the single women lol. I just want to be different. Since I’m having an outdoor ceremony I thought it would be really cool for them to carry parasols. It will shade them from the sun, and they look really cute for pictures. I might also have them wear bracelet corsages.

What do you think?

Love the parasols! My BMs had bouquets, but there are so many other options and parasols are just LOVELY.

It really depends on which season your wedding is in. Summer and Spring is great for the parasols.

Hey Glamdivabride!! That first picture is actually Me and my girls!!! YAAy!! Anywhoo, the parasols are a great choice!! and they were a hit at my wedding. I still have people calling me asking me where did I get them from or how did I make them.  they are super cheap,and super easy to paint! Definatley a money saver!! So I may be a bias judge but I say GO FOR IT Chica!

I like the idea of them carrying the parasols, especially the ones with the bms names on it. Great for spring and summer weddings.

Being outdoors, I like the idea of parasols a lot. I particuarly heart the lacey ones. :) I say do it.

I feel the same way...but I cant do the parasol due to Im have the wedding inside..Wish I could love the idea of them with the girls name....

I'm really looking into getting them clutches. . . makes more sence to me and it's a money saver!!!

I really think the clutch/purse is a cute idea too, but the parasols will look better for pictures and hide my girls from the sun during the outdoor ceremony. I'm getting them clutches in their gift bags. I asked my MOH about it, and she is still in love with the parasol idea.  

If I were having an indoor wedding I would definitely probably have them carry a pomander ball hanging from their wrist w/ ribbon. I think those are really cute. I would still want to be the only person with a bouquet lol.

No, my BMs are carrying feather fans.  I may add a single rose to the edge, or a wrist corsage like you mentioned, but that's it.  I LOVE different, so I vote for the parasol.  It's different and pretty.

im doing the same thing with my girls... I don't want to waist too much money on floral arrangments so i had to figure something else out

I LOVE the idea just wondering what type of parasol you used the type of paint and how you got the front so perfect did you use a template I decided against flowers aswell and am doing the parasol instead
